GoodOldLeon
Hi, I have a couple of questions about spawning. What are the lowest and highest possible values? and also, is that number affected by loot rarity settings or it is absolute? I'd like to know so I can tweak my mods accordingly. tommysticks
As far as I know the lowest limit used to be 0.1 or 0.01, I forget which. Highest is unlimited but if I remember correctly 100 will pretty much guarantee a spawn. And yes, spawn rate is affected by loot rarity, luck, and how many zeds are in the vicinity. I found these two examples while browsing the file: "Radio.WalkieTalkie3",0.001, and "Base.Spiffo", 0.0005, so maybe 0.0001 is the lowest?

Yeah, but I believe in the actual function that spawns shit in there is a line that says something like "if spawn rate <= 0.01 then spawn rate = 0.01" making those convert. Been a while since I've poked around. I believe the file I'm referring to is ItemPicker.lua if you want to take a look.
