How do I reassemble big furniture?

Just disassembled a Large Metal Shelf I wanted to move, and moved the two ''Kits'' I got from it to the place where I want to place it. But the problem is.... I have no idea of how.

 

How do I put back together some big furniture?

You need to keep one piece in your main inventory, I believe.

So long as the pieces are near by, you should be able to "place" the complete object, the same way way as with single-tile objects.

That doesn't seem to work. I already have both pieces on the ground and nothing comes up on the Place function. And I'm still holding onto the same tools I had when I disassembled it (Hammer, Saw, Screwdriver) so it isn't that either.

I can confirm that, you need at least one kit in your main inventory to be able to reassemble everything.

Ah, so that was. It worked.

 

Still, maybe there should be a bit of a text on these kits to tell you how to use them, as it is not immediately intuitive.
