Game won't load

Hi all,

 

So I haven't run PZ in a while from my laptop and it doesn't seem to work for some reason. Not sure it's a driver issue, i'm pretty sure i'm up to date on that side of things. Don't think it's java either. Here's a screenshot and a console file if anyone would kindly take a look.

Should add, if the above doesn't work, try uninstalling your VCRedist stuff in Add Remove Programs then restart your computer. Install VCRedist 2015 again, restart, and see if it works. Sometimes installs do get corrupt.

If you're new to Project Zomboid, be sure to the read the IWBUMS post at the top of the changelog. It provides instructions on activating the beta branch.

I know the IWBUMS branch, but I'm not sure I wanna join.

 

The thing is PZ works on my desktop PC but not the laptop. it seems many people are having the same issue according to the support forum topics. I reinstalled it like 5 times, i removed the VCRedist stuff. i guess i'll try again

It'd be simpler just to join the IWBUMS branch, as it should just work from that point forward.

I'd rather stay on the stable branch. I really wanted a fix and joining the IWBUMS is not really a fix unless TIS put whatever fix in it on the stable branch.
