Leanmelon
As the name suggests, it's a mod that improves the aim system. How would it work? Possibly having a menu on the side that allows you to determine who's friendly and who's foe. The people designated as friendly would have a much lower chance of being hit than the ones unmarked. (So there is still a chance of friendly fire on your friends!) The higher your aim would be, the lower the chance. If you're within a short radius of your designated friends the chance would be zero. With a mod like this: No more alternating in lines to begin firing! Defend fortifications from two stories up without shooting the defenders below! The possibility of being prone and crouched is now practical! And many more Keshash, Livio Persemprio and Project Eternal Alpha
nolanri
I want an aiming system where the cursor changes to a scope like targeting circle. And it will shake randomly when you hold down right mouse button as you aim. Shake in a larger radius as you drawn the mouse farther away from your player making hitting further away harder. but I don't think this can be done in modding, it's more of a game engine thing. DresdenBBQ
This is something that has been asked for and suggested many times for game change and a mod thing. (It is possible to change the odds on what guns will hit with what skill ect) Theres been some really good discussions about this so you should go find some of those threads some have really good ideas. EnigmaGrey
With the animation build, and hopefully the death of 2D, at the very least the angle used to calculate targets could be tightened up to allow for better target selection. No longer being constrained by 8 directions would be great.
Kelefane
Why not just add a crosshair to the game?
