Official Translation Files

It's on your hand, the file encoding, I could change it, but I'm sure you also can ;)

 

If you really can't I'll take a look.

 

I think just make a new files, c/c what's in recipes and save it as Recipes_ES.txt your encoding should be good then

Slashes and space in this will work don't worry :)

 

okay for your word. (fedora)

 

( its bit confusing me, cause like in PHP variables or defined constants , - names are not allowed with chars like " SLASHES & SPACES" )

I'm gonna add soon the missing translations, but for now, here's a cool stuff for y'all :)

 

In the next update, open the ProjectZomboid.bat and add a -debugtranslation at the end (i may just do a .bat directly named "debug translation" or something..)

 

It'll create a files in C:/users/YOU/Zomboid named translationProblems.txt, and log inside it every error and missing translation, I just tested it with the last german translation, played a bit and here's example :

A problem occurs with the translation : Tooltip_food_Dangerous_uncooked :  "Gefährlich wenn ungekocht. A problem occurs with the translation : HammerStone :  "Steinhammer,couldn't find Tooltip_weapon_Scope="Scope"couldn't find IGUI_FoodNaming="%1 %2"couldn't find Tooltip_Scope="Increase max range but decrease minimum range"couldn't find Tooltip_food_Dangerous_uncooked="Dangerous uncooked"

So now, as you can quickly see, the Tooltip_food_Dangerous_uncooked and items HammerStone are wrong, they miss a " at the end.

Also we miss some of the existing translation, you can see it really fast this way :)

 

Anyway, tell me if you have ideas on how to improve translation, but I'm sure this should help !

It'll come today (prob at the end of the day) when I'll finish to fix some bugs and add again missing translations (and update the current one !)

No intro message translated yet, need to find the correct font for it :) (I mean the "THis is How you'll die" thingy)
