ZomboidSurvivor
I wanted to know if someone can send me a tutorial on making project zomboid clothing, I wanted to know this cause I was planning on making a trenchcoat for my character. RegularX
I believe new clothing sprites are currently outside the ability to be modded. If you mean a new item (without new graphics) - then that could be scripted.
harakka
Correct, you'll just have to wait for the devs to release the tools for it.
ZomboidSurvivor
Well what would be required to turn it into a clothing item?
RoboMat
Check the items.txt and Newitems.txt. The vannilla clothing items should be defined there and it should be easy to copy them as the others have said you currently can't create the graphics though. ZomboidSurvivor
So any idea when the modding tools will be released? Cause I really wanted to make some custom skins.
harakka
Nope, there's been no time estimate given whatsoever. Only that they'll be made available once the whole sprite system is fairly finalized.
ZomboidSurvivor
Looks good so far, unless they plan on adding Parkour.
