Undust4able Posted March 8, 2016 Share Posted March 8, 2016 This is something I made using HTML. I plan to make it more clear, but what are you seeing here is: A chair, which have its inventory. A rifle put on the chair and appear on the texture sprite. A wooden stake (sturdy stick) with attached Thread to it. Me. Extending Thread line as an interactive thing. Yes, it actually follows the mouse. What is it supposed to be is that player puts a gun on the chair, places 2 stakes and connects a string between them. To do so, after placing the first stake he rightclicks it and selects Attach > Thread from the menu. Then this thing appears. You can then tie the line to another stake, but only if there's enough string left. Then he somehow ties it to a special mechanism (maybe just chair) and connects the entire trap. When an enemy will cross the line, a gun will shoot. Something like that? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Faalagorn Posted March 8, 2016 Share Posted March 8, 2016 A more basic way of doing it (might be moddable as of current version I think?) would be to enable chair inventory, place a gun and a thread/twine in it, and when the doors open and traps trigger 1 ammo and x*tiles use of string is used up (1 tile = 1 twine/thread use) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
