IWBUMS: Build 34.12

EasyPickins

Recommended Posts

Updated, still version 34.12:

  • Fixed loading sandbox options.  If you tried to load a sandbox game in 34.12, copy the map_sand.bin file from the _backup folder of that savefile.
  • Fixed a server memory leak related to lights.
  • Updated the dedicated server.

People running 33.20 (the public build, not IWBUMS) can apply this patch to their server to fix the memory leak.  Unzip into java/zombie/iso.

Update 34.12!

  • Calories decrease slower.
  • You can now eat after being well fed, it'll depend on your calories intake.
  • Added a nutrition sandbox option, enabled by default, untick it to not use nutrition (no more weight loss etc..)
  • Fixed disappearing items when crafting.
  • Updated map. Don't force texture compression on when checking gpu memory.
  • Wall-lighting fix for west walls.
  • Fixed walls and solid objects on the floor below blocking movement going up stairs.
  • Fixed 'Toggle UI' key.
  • Fixed poultice recipes destroying Mortar and Pestle.
  • "Survivor Killed" --> "Survivors Killed"
  • Fixed clicking on a container displaying it in the Loot window when SafehouseAllowLoot=false.
  • Fixed "Take some dirt" removing water tiles.
  • Trigger OnZombieDead event when a zombie burns to death.

Yay i can now put crates under the stairs :)is the on zombie dead only for death by fire?

Thx mr RJ for the updates :)

As visible in a picture of another user 3-4 posts before this one, this kind of bed looks like that everywhere...

bed.jpg

1) not sure how to explain this...   rain seems to go up instead of down :)

2) first time in game I try to pour water into bottles -> there's no pour in water (or empty bottle) with pots and kettle with water or any other, I often have to pour from pot into a bowl, then from bowl into a second bowl then the option appears.

And , by the way, why is it more difficult to point on a corpse to grab it? I mean, with this new build 34 (while 33.20 was ok) I often click on the body (with no obstacles around) and I have to try several times, because there's no "grab corpse" option; very often I have to try to right click on a foot or just below the back...

Here's a video of both rain and grab corpse problem.

NEVERMIND! restart steam was required to download the IWBUMS

I'm playing on a mac with steam and even tho the name is already project zomboid ( iwillbackupmysave ) it still runs the 33.20 normal version...is this normal on os x?

Nothing should have changed there.  There was an earlier bug with how arguments are handled, but these all seem to be working for me now.  Try validate your server files, it sounds like ProjectZomboid64 wasn't updated.

not server, the client version of  ProjectZomboid64/32 is not working right with the args.

ProjectZomboid64.exe -Xms4096m -Xmx4096m -- -cachedir=Zomboid  <--- ignores GameArg; not using cachedir

ProjectZomboid64.exe -Xms4096m -Xmx4096m -cachedir=Zomboid  <--- ignores VmArgs but using cachdir

With -debugtranslation it works all

ProjectZomboid64.exe -Xms4096m -Xmx4096m -- -cachedir=Zomboid -debugtranslation

-adminpassword does not take =

-cachedir does

Spoiler

    		} else if (args[n].equals("-adminpassword")) {
    			if (n == args.length - 1) {
    				DebugLog.log("expected argument after \"-adminpassword\"");
    				System.exit(0);
    			} else  if (args[n + 1].trim().isEmpty()) {
    				DebugLog.log("empty argument given to \"-adminpassword\"");
    				System.exit(0);
    			} else {
    				ServerWorldDatabase.instance.CommandLineAdminPassword = args[n + 1].trim();
    				n++;
    			}
    		} else if (args[n].startsWith("-cachedir=")) {
    			GameWindow.setCacheDir(args[n].replace("-cachedir=", "").trim());

EDIT: The server needs the fixed ProjectZomboid64.exe as well.

strange.. but my server will only start with "="  between arg and value , else

expected argument after "-adminpassword"  <- with all : e.g. -port -ip , etc..
