erlisbl Posted December 19, 2015 Share Posted December 19, 2015 Hi.Today I purchased a copy of this game, and I've been trying like 5 hours to get it working, but I can't.Whenever I download the Project Zomboid files through SteamCMD, I never get the DEDI-SERVER-ZOMBOID kind of file.And that's the part I get stuck on.I used the guide from this forum "Buying & Running the server".So what should I do?I'm so frustrated. The "Buying & Running the server" thread may be old and have out of date info. I think the full command is:steamcmd +login $username $password +force_install_dir ./install/path +app_update 380870 validate +quitwith -beta iwillbackupmysave -betapassword lookforthepasswordintheforums if you want the beta branch. erlisbl 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
erlisbl Posted December 20, 2015 Author Share Posted December 20, 2015 Even though i download app 380870 I still didn't get ALL THE FILES, and using START-SERVER.sh , I get a text saying start-server.sh : killed etc. I'm tired of this stuff.
