AnonPrime
Is there any way of disabling the console.txt file that is generated by the client? I have a KVM switch (keyboard video mouse shared between two computers) and if I switch between the two my console starts getting spammed with: Failed to poll device: Failed to poll device (8007000c)Failed to poll device: Failed to poll device (8007000c) This console spam continues even after switching back to the computer running Zomboid. After a few hrs, my console.txt file... is 500MB! I understand that the game is an alpha, and I am running the IWBUMS version, but I would rarely if ever need the console output text file. Any ideas? AnonPrime
Eh, don't know why I didn't think of this before... If anybody else wants to disable this from being generated, close Zomboid if it is running, open the console.txt in notepad, delete all the text, save and quit. Change the file properties to read-only. Simple work around!
Rathlord
Yup, that's what I was going to recommend. I'll mention to the devs and see if we can cap the size, though.
