Immortal Zed Posted September 29, 2015 Share Posted September 29, 2015 I was staying in my base to heal my broken leg on a very developed character, then suddenly the screen goes black...I can't exit or anything, so I Alt F4, but couldn't log in, screen goes back after "this is how you die", there's "no click to start" prompt. I checked my map_p.bin file is now empty and I got a reanimated.bin file. Does that mean my character is dead? Because server crash? What a waste of time growing this character... Albie Posted September 30, 2015 Share Posted September 30, 2015 I believe it's gone for good. I have this problem a lot, especially with a dodgy laptop battery! I like to do it as I play on IWBUMS, but try backing up your character folder after each time you finish playing to be safe.
