No im not kidding its legal in the USA to use as its not really know in the law as a firearm and only in mishigin and californium (cant spell those to states) including a napalm mix but due to this there starting to get more regulations on it and im pretty sure your on the FBI watch list for a while oh you want proof? Here http://throwflame.com/  http://store.xm42.com/ both websites allowing the sell of flamethrower within the states

"Weed burners" are actually a fairly  common item in hardware stores across the US. This is probably not particularly different from them, just a bit more flashy and souped up. The only difference is that they're selling it with a gelling agent so the flames stick to things.

Why is it that I'm thinking that we are now going to start having Flamethrower spam instead of the normal kitten spam?

First, we wil let the developers accustom to the flamethrowers. Then, after many threads about flamethrowers and whatnot, one guy will simply suggest Flamethrowers being able to use ingame. And the devs will say yes. Zombie BBQ.

^^

I would agree with this because most games have highly unsatisfying death animations for people being flambeed but there is something highly satisfying when they have the anims right and you get a big gloop of napalm on some poor fuckers and they start running round in circles screaming flapping their arms doing the "hot hot hot" dance.

at germany, you're able to buy some gas-weed-burner almost at every tool store. not like a real flamethrower, but without the pressure regulator, they're pretty damgerous. don't try this at home! (or at least not yours ^^) ((really, never "play" with gas!))

Well, technically, you can legally own tanks, artillery, and other fun things, you just have to pay for a tax stamp (not to mention shilling out $100,000 for a tank). But still 100% legal. It's actually rather common for multi-millionaires to own FIGHTER JETS.

Same applies to the M134 Minigun. The point is that there generally isn't enough capital on hand for the average citizen to own one, meaning its not a probable threat in regards to crime. That's how I like to see this flamethrower business anyhow. The problem is that due to this opening, and now the incredible cheap nature per unit, 900 bucks (http://xm42.com/) is well within the range of some psychotic fool for roasting people and not their backyard. The fear of this means that now a stance must be taken on this, more than likely against it, for the simple reason of availability.
