Any way to transport bag data between worlds?

This is probably not possible but would there be a way say like a person put a baseball bat in a schoolbag that same baseball bat could be found in a different save? cause if so I could make a container that could be like a vault to store stuff threw saves.

Move your map_p.bin file from one save to the other. Your character and any items on it will now be in the other world.

This can also be done with map_x_y.bin flies. They're based off the coordinates given by BlindCoder's map and each file represents a 10 x 10 section of the map.

You could definitely do that. You could store the items (serialized) in your own custom save file in your mod's directory (or the Zomboid/Lua cache directory.)

Then whenever the 'global safe' type item is loaded you would sync its inventory from that file. And whenever new items are added to it you'd sync it back to that file.

This just screams "Abuse".

Start a world with Sandbox (or even the new Creative Mode), set all loot to abundant, no zombies. Go around stuffing all the loot you want into the bag. Go onto a hard server, unload all your bags full of food, weapons, and water. Repeat.

How would you prevent this from being abused on servers?

(Although I guess a good idea would be to just not install it on the server...)
