Nightmaster
Better yet, why cant you make a rain collector that will fill your house water storage tank? Also, why the houses dont have a water tank on the roof like any modern (1950+) house do in RL?

EnigmaGrey
Offtopic never seen a single water tank on any roof here in the states in the past 45 yearsKind of want one, though. Does suck if power is out for a few days and water pressure drops. But then that hasn't happened since Hurricane Juan in 2003 or 4. Lost power for a week; some of the neighbors for two. Nightmaster
Thats basic procedure here in Brazil. All houses have a water tank on the roof to allow for long term water storage. This avoid the problem of lack of water if power fails for more than a week. Minimum water tanks in houses here in Brazil is 500 liters. Most houses normally have a 1000 liters tank on roof.
