(I made the sprites, yay)

They spawn in a-lot of places.

Some are weak while others are deadly.

Bugs:

(kind of) Can't do carpentry with them, I tried renaming the normal ones Hammers, hoping that the game would recognize them as Hammers, like some of the items can do, but it didn't work.. So use these hammers to kill things with and the vanilla hammer for construction (these ones can barricade though).

Hammers Added:

  • Tire Hammer Jz3ivov.pngWeak unless a charged swing but faster with good knockdown.
  • Upholsterers Hammer vIoS6dU.png Weaker than normal hammers but faster with average knockdown.
  • Machinist Hammer vzfDbS4.png Weaker than normal hammers but faster with average knockdown.
  • Ball Pein Hammer Z0T7lx1.png Weaker than normal hammers but faster with average knockdown.
  • Straight Claw Hammer IDfREh4.png As close to the vanilla hammer as you can get.
  • Masons Hammer iW6pgw3.png Strong, a little heavy and slow with good knockdown.
  • Mallet Hammer LsZv83U.png Strong, a little heavy and slow with a big swing radius with good knockdown.
  • Dead Blow Hammer z22pIuZ.png Strong, a little heavy and slow with good knockdown.
  • German Hammer l9jjJWK.png Very strong, heavy and slow with good knockdown.
  • Maul Hammer 9qpqwlj.png Very strong, heavy and slow with a big swing radius with good knockdown.
  • Splitting Maul Hammer 9figzm0.png Very strong, heavy and slow with a big swing radius with good knockdown.

I love the idea of adding more hammers,

but i've yet to find any combination of

packing and re-packing the folders and

files to make this mod work. It has not caused

any errors, but i've not found any hammers

while playing on sandbox mode with the loot

set to abundant.

Has anyone gotten this to work and verified

that the hammers are showing in-game?

Has anyone else had my problem?

Thanks

Wondering how you're installing it, works fine for me, though I don't have the new test versions to test it, but it works in the versions I have (.10, .11, .13 and .16).

Are you on mac? If so do not do below.. It will overwrite the folders.

Look in the "ItsHammerTimeMod" folder in the zip file, copy the media and mods folders and the pngs to your base PZ folder.

Let me know if you need more help.

After installing my hammer mod, install the gimme file from the zip and press F8+H (default, you can change) if they don't show up in your inventory, something was installed wrong.

I have only tried it on the latest steam version

which has the option to add mods from the

start menu... albeit you still have to properly

pack the folders in your pz directory.

I am not using a mac, I am on pc.

I will extract the "itshammertime" folder

as you've suggested... but am still

confounded as to what you mean by

"install the gimme file from the zip"..

the only file i see in the gimmehammers folder

is a lua titled- gimmehammers. Am i too also

extract this to the pz directory. Also.. pressing

f8+h... what does this do? is this done in game?

thanks for answering me and I love that we have

smart people like you who have any clue what

they are doing when it comes to stuff like this.
