What is the process of adding new sprites for new crops or new buidings?

I mean the sprites which will show on the map.

I have checked Turbo's work. But I didn't figure out any clue......

Is the process like the following?

1. edit the png pictures ( is there any requirement on the picture, like sizes?)

2. make tile set with the png pictures I made

3. create the texture packs

4. add the texture packs to the mod directory 

5. activate the texture packs in mod.info

 

If there is a detailed tutorial on adding new sprites, it will be really great.

Well...I really want to thank you. But my country's government has blocked some foreign websites. And your blog's address is probably on the list. And I assume your videos are on youtube,which is also on the list..... So it is little bit difficult for me to watch your videos.

Would you like to explain it words?Not need to be very detailed.

In the media/texturepacks folder there are .pack files that you can expand if you use this java program:

You can see the crops in the Tiles.pack file and edit the existing ones but all the tiles seem to be set up in a very specific way so not sure what it would take to add more.

Probably no.

It may need to be changed every time PZ updates. And it's hard to figure out which tiles is not used in the current version of PZ.
