jimpetey
Is there a way I can start my server over? But keep the current world saved somewhere else so I can use it at a later time? Like, if the people I play with on one world are gone, and I want to play with a new group of people, I can start a new world. But when the others come back I can load up my old one. How would I do this?
CaptKaspar
Make a copy of your ProjectZomboidServer.bat and rename it. At least I think that will work for what you're trying to do.
EasyPickins
You can give each server a different name. By default your server is called "servertest" which saves the world in Zomboid/Multiplayer/servertest.You can choose a different servername by using the -servername option when starting the server.Add the -servername option to the end of the line in the .bat file you use to start the server.... zombie.network.GameServer -servername MySecondServerThe world will be saved in Zomboid/Multiplayer/MySecondServer.Server options will be saved in Zomboid/Server/MySecondServer.ini.The whitelist will be saved in Zomboid/db/MySecondServer.db.
