Yeah you'll have to make custom context menu entry which then removes all items from the container and moves them to the player's inventory instead. It's the same thing I did in "Unpack Bags".

How would I disable the cut up recipe ifbag has stuff?

Well it would be way more complicated than doing the stuff I mentioned above - I'm not even sure if it would be possible to remove it. You could probably write a custom recipe in lua instead of the item-scripts but I'm also not too sure about that.
