It doesn't seem that worthwile considering it would be a tiny, tiny container and therefore not much use for weight reduction.  But if it's easy to code, well, why not? You could keep nails or ammo in them, maybe.

I hope you don't take it as an insult, but I was already giggling after reading the title of the thread. I was imagining bags tied to elastic bands, the way small children's gloves are affixed to their coats so they don't lose them. Came in to read the topic and the giggles continued

 

The bag in the photo looks like it couldn't hold much more than an ipod a small, portable music player (it's like a fannypack for your arm!), but if you think it would be useful, why not (weight capacity max 1 though).
