I found a mistake...

It has 2 plastic chairs on the front of the building (level1)

Lol, actually it's no mistake, the people that actually live there DO have a couple plastic chairs there; my guess is they go through the window and use the overhang as a "deck" of sorts.  Thanks for pointing it out though! :)

Are there any plans to fill the void that is now that road to ND? Its a very very long walk right now. I know this is based on your town which is cool, but I feel it will be dropped from most servers in its current state as makes movement between towns absurdly far.

That's actually a very good point, the walk between Three Forks and where New Denver starts is fairly dry.  I could probably add a military checkpoint on the highway pull-off (Here: http://pzmap.crash-override.net/#-0.03513142609017335,0.12947175094354194,79.4968472033908) and a smaller one on the Galena trail (Here: http://pzmap.crash-override.net/#0.021671237684527514,0.1428820975617748,197.81359483314137)

I'm thinking when vehicles are added, I could put a traffic accident along the highway, and other abandoned cars, but until then, military checkpoints would probably be the way to go.

Well that's the beauty of it now I guess.. you have the town as it is but can add some post apocalyptic touches.

 

What would happen if the town fell to the zombies?

Perhaps the military would establish a large fenced off area somewhere along that main road to set up a makeshift refugee camp for survivors to convene? Add some basic defences like watch towers in the corners etc so it looks like a quickly thrown together position and not a full blown base.

Miltary checkpoints in/out of the city?

 

Perhaps simulate some sort of operation like this that has since been overrun.. e.g holes in the fences and it overrun with zombies but has some good loot like a gun cabinet (make it risk vs reward to go there)

Is it possible that by subscribing to the map on Steam parts of it got updated and corrupted a running savegame? When I load it rains into houses, light switches can't be turned off (there is no entry in the right-click context menu) and sheets not attached to windows. The existing sheet covers work fine, but can't be torn off either; windows can still be opened and broken; existing sheet ropes work as well. Will these issues persist for me in this save or is there a way to fix them, i.e. running far enough to load a new zone?

I'm currently playing the IWBUMS 34.13.  When I load the New Denver map I get a whole bunch of red ????.  Very strange as I've only just updated to 34.13 and had never seen it before.  I am running a few mods but I cant seem to narrow it down.

 

any help would be appreciated.

2.1 has been released, which includes a new building at the main intersection here: http://pzmap.crash-override.net/?desc=New_Denver_v2_00L0#0.3225909932005236,0.1636219713345675,246.10442619830718, the garage and restaurant are gone; they were bought and replaced with a sporting goods store and 2 apartments.  The empty store for sale here: http://pzmap.crash-override.net/?desc=New_Denver_v2_00L0#0.3062680247253503,0.15846961563170586,425.26844847067474 has been leased and is now a pharmacy.  added a few mini fridges around town, and other minor details.

The new stuff doesn't show on Redboid after restarting. Guess it will only appear after a fresh reset just FYI.

 

We see a black box where the apartment should be that's about it :)

Thanks for the update Xeonyx!

 

One question: I want to start a server with New Denver only, but unfortunately in the lots of Muldraugh and West Point are always loaded with New Denver (lots in maps.info).

Only thing to mitigate this problem is a seperate Workshop mod or is there something else I can do?

Silverton has just been added; the last of the expansions, it lies south of New Denver.   Still have to add the forage map to the map but having to define over 600 map files sounds like a nightmare so I'll get to it when I can.  Also haven't added the vehicle spawn system yet as I don't know how to.   And yes, I still have to remove the road blocks, just having problems loading the map files with them.

The thing is, you can spawn vehicles on your custom map, you just can't make custom vehicle spawning zone for now (like spawn only taxi somewhere, etc.)

But you can do a zone (minimum 4x3) with parkingstall as type and you'll be good.

Default will spawn almost every car in average condition, change it's name to "bad", "medium", "good", "spiffo" etc to spawn other cars: this is what I need to bring over LUA :)

Do you have the complete list of names and what are the names for the traffic jams and accidents please?
