Gman
I always get this error: Failed connection download on TCP 16262 The last digit of the port goes up a number for each player in the server.Do I have to open these ports to join servers? That's rather silly.
nasKo
It's more likely to be an antivirus or software/router firewall blocking the connection. Same issue here: http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/11485-failed-connection-to-tcp-download-port-16262
Gman
I only have Windows Firewall and turning that off does not solve it.Any other ideas? Went through Inbound and Outbound rules. I made sure all ports are being accepted by the windows firewall.

Something is blocking the server from downloading the information to the computer, you could try and put in a specific port rules in Windows Firewall to ignore these ports, or you having some other security software on the computer that is stopping the connection or your router could even be stopping the connection by it's own choice. Gman
I hate it when my router goes Skynet... Making it's own choices.
EnigmaGrey
I hate it when my router goes Skynet... Making it's own choices.Just in-case this isn't a joke (and humanity isn't in the process of being wiped out), many routers do have their own security features now, including firewalls. Very annoying things, particularly if you're locked into an ISP's setup.
Gman
I'll just wait until the Steam integration.
