Dr_Cox1911
Is it somehow possible to integrate a custom map within the default PZ-map withouth overwriting the base-files? I would prefer the install over the normal mod-folder. I´m talking about that awesome prison (created by LeoIvanov) btw.

Gustav
I don't know how but I know its possible as the fan-favorite maps of Bedford Falls and Dreadwood are when downloaded integrated into the main overworld without affecting anything. Dreadwood is in the middle of the loooooooooooooooooooooooong stretch of road between Muldraugh and West Point. Bedford Falls is put into a large clearing deep into the forest where nothing was before.
syfy
yes, but those require overwriting files. i've used both many times i know i saw a map that installed as a mod, i just need to find it got it, Suomiboi's Radcliffe map installs as a mod...but it is a stand alone map...........dammit
Dr_Cox1911
maybe this? http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/11019-custom-map/I already use this for standalone maps, but can´t get it to work with integrated maps. Only overwriting works so far.

Dr_Cox1911
Thanks syfy, but that is pretty much the same tutorial as posted previously. Looks like it´s not possibly right now
EasyPickins
A mod can override whole cells, just give the mod's X_Y.lotheader and world_X_Y.lotpack files the same X and Y as the game's files. But there's no way to place just a building into the world, only a whole cell.
