Actually, are the weapons compatible with the addons in game? an AR-15 uses .223 rounds (Varmint)a Remington 700 uses .308 rounds (Hunting)so it should be a safe assumption that they do work together with the in game rounds and the mod guns Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But to answer your question, the in-game addons cannot be added to the weapons, I haven't found the correct place to change that. Just tested it out and although it seems to be working on version 29.4 (I ran to the police station and found some ammo boxes but no guns before getting eaten ) it doesnt seem to work on the IWBUMS branch. Containers and corpses wont show up in the loot window and on top of that things like shelves and bookcases look empty in the game world. Just thought I'd let ya know. Dont know if thats something you can fix or if it will fix itself when version 30 is stable.
