I get this while foraging "ERROR: ItemContainer.Additem: can't find Hydrocraft.HCSulphure"

 

also for Gather Flora

I love the sound of these, although I may have to move to a new location completely to be able to find a lot of the new stuff. I particularly like the sound of the Sawbuck (which means I'd better start making pallets of wooden logs) and the mine upgrade and ... well most of it, really. Finding the books will be painful, though :/

 

Regarding the placable Stone Pillars and Spiked Log Barriers - are they destroyable by zombies?

Yup. Stone pillars drop stones and log barriers drop logs and/or rope.

 

Spiffy :) I really like the idea of being able to shore up my second-floor walkways with some stone pillars, and it feels more thematic if the zombies can destroy them, although I'm hoping a concrete and stone pillar will have a lot of hit points.

 

The obsessive-compulsive side of me really likes the idea that now they're placeable objects, the pillars will all line up neatly, too...

A very awesome update Hydro! Glad to be apart of this amazing mod you've created :) Im going to finish the gem and ore art and what im planning on doing is doing a few hours worth of research on all of them (even the already added ones) and write down all possible uses with current items in the mod and new uses with future items :).I cant wait to start playing today!

 

 

hmm have a question. Is it actualy possible to combine an item with an trait? For example when i wear the scavange shroud i get temporaly Inconspicuous.

This could be a cool addition to the items.

 

(so you can combine a hearing aid with keen hearing and so on ... )

 

Now that's a cool idea! Unfortunately I believe that traits are hardcoded into the game, but im not 100% on that. now moodles I know are hardcoded but with build 33 they'll be much easier to mod, so I'm hoping traits will too when build 33 comes along. Id love to see custom moodles and custom traits within hydrocraft! The future of hydrocraft will and shall be a golden one lol

Looks like you now need the stamp mill to make your gravel from stones.  Not sure what other uses it will have yet.

OMG its only one page back. So hard to find.

 

The first page is already too full of everything added to the mod. I fear I may reach the character limit soon.

This mod continues to impress, no matter how many new things I discover, kudos! I have a minor issue, I can't seem to attach bags to the German Shepherd. Otherwise, he has been an awesome companion!

Sorry German Shepherds and Labs have not been done yet. But they will be eventually.

--Made the report into Sections A-D so it'll make issue adressing and replies a bit simpler!

 

Section A - Bug Report - 25 Sept 2015:

  1. Double Clothes Line not working from the ground properly. Does not dry Wet Towel when Towels are on the ground. Towels must be in inventory or else they duplicate to make DRY towels without consuming the Wet Towel. (I know I reported this earlier but I did some more testing to point out the error.)
  2. Empty Salt Shakers (used in Recycle Glass) are not generated when Salt is used out/emptied during Cooking Recipes. Once they are used out during Cooking crafting that have 'Craft All' buttons (E.g. Make Marinade) they are not made. Same goes for Pepper as well since there are Recycle Glass recipes in Glassworking. Same sort of issue that I had with Lighters not giving Empty Lighters on depletion a while back.
  3. Make Salt Powder Recipe in Alchemy and Refill Salt Shaker Recipe in Cooking have no initial ingredients to consume. It simply states the tools but no initial ingredient.
  4. Make Bread Dough automatically gives you Bread with no "Prepare" recipe like Pumpkin Bread to give you the final product. Not very fair nor encouraging to make a recipe that costs less for the same result with one less step. Shouldn't this be tied back to in-game item of Bread as well since there are 2x Slice Bread recipes or is that a scripting issue?
  5. Same train of thought @ 4 - no Slice Bread recipe for Pumpkin Bread. Intentional since you consume the entire Pumpkin Bread or there's no script to reproduce the slices separately?
  6. Harvest Cheese Curds Recipe in Cooking destroys Wooden Vat and does not return one. (TESTED WITH LOGOUT/LOGIN. No refund of Vat)
  7. Search for Lost Cows in Ranching uses up Cow Poop and Rope regardless of if an animal is found. Is this intentional?
  8. Spelling error in Make Steel Sheers Recipe in Blacksmithing. It's supposed to be 'Shears.'
  9. Using the Sawbuck whilst it is on the ground and being in proximity does NOT give the "extra" plank/block. "Extra" item creation only works when Sawbuck itself is in inventory and equipped OR by using the right-click menu on the item which results in all produced items being thrown on the ground and having to be picked up again to be put away. Quite a bit of hassle if you have the 'All Thumbs' Trait. Working as intended?
  10. Using the Spade at the Mine gives the following Log Window error:

  • Homeade Ketchup and Homeade Cooking Oil can be crafted but are not in the usable Ingredient list for some recipes.
  • Crafting of Pallets/Stacks from Floor instead of having to pick up Logs/Planks off the floor to combine first then create the item. Current setup is a bit of busywork as is to have to pick up individual items then balance the load weight then craft to put back down. Is it designed this way to prevent the XP exploit bug?
  • Adding Clay Mug to Ingredient list for Cooking recipes

  1. Emptied 30 Pots Of Water into Well. No change in bar. Does it have THAT much holding space?

  3. Any recipe for crafting Cork With Hole for Glass Test Tube recipes in Alchemy? Possibly using a Corkscrew?
  4. Recipe for crafting Duct Tape and Wood Glue has been removed?

Yes, it does. I've managed to get a well about 1/3rd full by spending the better part of two days filling it directly from a sink. If you manage to build a well before the water and power get switched off, it can be a huge help - you can stockpile enough water in it to keep you going for weeks.

are you planning (or whoever wants to) to update the hydrocraft wiki? Is that wiki even from you? Because it would be nice to have a wiki where all the items are listed + their uses. I guess its so much work that you don't have time for it? :)

Not currently. We're supposed to be updating the Wiki but there's some issues with the admin and wanting us to put content for the mod on an OFFICIAL Wiki. And you know how that goes. I was supposed to add some articles but I'm busy testing the mod these days. :(

Find the Medical Textbook and read it and use a Saw/Bone Saw. Search the thread for some of your questions! I'm sure we've answered a few along the way!

TP...not AFAIK. Rubberbands are used in crafting Slingshots and you can Recycle 3x Boxes Of Rubberbands for a Rubber Ingot.

Gotta learn and experiment on some of them. MOST of the Recipes in-game are found via Books/Magazines that the mod has added or by crafting Blueprints USING Books. Look up NoMiS's channel on YouTube for some of the best tutorials for the mod you can find!

Dangit. Found some more...I think.

  1. There's no recipe for Upgrade Medium Junkyard to turn it into a Large Junkyard?
  2. Creating Improvised Gas Mask does not consume Dish Towel but instead uses up part of the 'dryness.' Working as intended?
  3. Can we have Create Steel Pipe from Steel Ingots added to Blacksmithing?
  4. Reading the Industrial Mechanics Textbook does NOT add the recipes for 'Upgrade to Steamhammer' or 'Make Sheet of Metal' to any of the crafting menus. Only "Sheet Metal" recipe present at this time of reading the textbook is "Make Aluminum Sheet" in Blacksmithing.  Build Steam Machine appears fine though.

No current logs appear in Server window or Log window this time to show anything's missing sadly. So no screenshots to help it along this time. :(
