Hydrocraft v7.1 has been released!

 

Which includes ...

 

- Wagons are harder to make.

- Fixed Sift Dirt

- Fixed Trading Post $10 Bill Exploit

"Equip" is used loosely. You are basically picking which item you want to use for armor. There are 7 slots ...

 

- Head

- Torso

- Arms

- Hands

- Legs

- Feet

- Shield

 

The "equip armor" just chooses which item you want it to pick as your armor for that slot. So lets say you have Iron Armor and Kevlar Armor. If you select the Kevlar Armor it will use that instead of the steel armor which you choose that. This is so it know which armor in the inventory to use, rather than it just randomly choosing one.

 

There is no way to tell which is equipped. So just remember which one you picked.

Hey nolanri, can you make it so the viewable stats, or examine armor, is a closeable window tooltip? Right now it pops up below my inventory and I don't really want to move those windows just to view the stats. It also fades before I can read all of it. Thanks.

Im curious about the Tar Kiln what is it under. Also with a lot of the stuff is there an immediate use for them or is this just parts your dropping in for later updates? 

 

Also i want to get into modding but I'm a dirty person who has a mac book and have no idea where to start. I would appreciate if someone here could point me in the right way.

 

I have also always wanted to see two things added. Barb Wire that can be crafted and something akin to Zombrex.

I tried to equip work gloves and a bucket as a helmet, on multiplayer, and I get 426+ errors (infinite) and crash the server...

How can I upgrade my mine to dark mine ?   Dark Mine -> Steel Beam ->Steam Hammer -> Steam Machine -> Thermocouple -> Thermocouple Wire -> Constantan Wire -> Constantan Ingot -> Nickel Ingot -> Pentlandite -> DARK MINE!!!

You need to mine from the first type of Dark Mine first to the the Pentlandite. Only the steam machine upgrade to the Dark Mine will need that.

 I can't get steel beam from large junkyard, because I can't upgrade medium junkyard without steel beam ))) And there is not steel beam in medium junkyard

Hi there, sir Hydro and all who made this possible. I can't imagine the game without your mod. Thank you.

I have found some errors while cooking. I wanted to make a tasty pizza .. got it to Uncooked Tasty Pizza , but after cooking it, it did not change to Baked Tasty Pizza but remained Uncooked Tasty Pizza (freshly cooked).

I tried to cook some rice .. placed some water in a Saucepan, cooked it and it did not change in Rice (with the saucepan icon as on recipe) but remained Saucepan with Rice (freshly cooked) and i can't place it in bowls because the recipe does not use Saucepan with Rice ...

I have level 6 in cooking.

 i can second this

 

and the amount of burns smelting iron is just.....absurd.

 

that and the process of making a blacksmith apron is just absolutely insane, which in the end requires you to make a ton of stuff down a veryb long line of crafting stations, all of which require looting half the town or

 

having a smelter.

 

the logic chain of avoiding burns is.....insane. (im gonna SMELT MAY FACE cuz i STICKING MY HEAD IN THERE TO SMELL IT)

 

i can see needing a ton of end game gear for the blast furnace maybe.. but most rednecks have home made crucibles making pots of molten lead and brass for bullet shells and fishing weights made of bricks, charcoal and a hair dryer. just check youtube. these guys dont hardly wear gloves, let alone a frickin hazmat suit made of goverment restricted materials. really needs to be toned down, imo.
