Yeah whats the deal with the fire suit and still getting burned? Getting reports of this on Redboid...

Ok my lua guy looked it over with me and we found that NONE of the protections are working. And it will be fixed for next update.

WARNING!

Protective Fire Gear is Broken!

You will get burned nearly every time!

Use Kilns, Smelters and Furnaces at your own risk!

Good to know.

What about tiredness when foraging? Is that working as intended?

I seem to get drowsy after only about 4 forage attempts. That seems extreme to me.

Foraging is core game and it is meant to make you very tired very fast. In real life foraging generally takes a week of over full time work to collect enough calories to make up a loaf of bread.

I was joking about the happy part. But I guess I was just confused that it took this many updates to now make using the kiln/furnace/smelter dangerous as oppose to when it was first introduced in the mod. I'm still concerned about the fires suddenly appearing since there isn't a good description on just how the new fire hazard surrounding those items work. I know burning food in the oven can cause fire, but what about using the kiln or smelter?

Oh I see now sorry, kind of a bitchy post in retrospect my apologies.

Oh, my mistake. I thought I saw a patch note in the mod about it.

Thanks

Sorry, that's false.  Otherwise Homo sapiens would all have died out the instant we came into existence.

Nah, it's all cool. I'm just sad that I have to wait until the next update to safely use the kiln/furnace/smelter since I have yet to find medicine that will treat burns and it is not worth hurting myself to get the metal I need to craft the steam machine/charging unit to restore my batteries. Ah well, I suppose I can just wing it if I must, but I'm still wary about fires suddenly popping up. Did anyone using those items have stuff around the character catch in flames or is everybody just suffering horrific burns?

EDIT:Oh,and last question. Is there a way to download older version of this mod?

Our game has effectively no DRM. Even the Steam version can be started without Steam via a simple launch option. Unless you've downloaded something dubious, a pirated copy has no effect. If it says "cracked" I wonder what it does, considering there is nothing to crack.

Please buy the game. It's only $16.99 and the developers are always adding new things. I've gotten more use out of it than some full-sized games.

Agreed. Just buy it on steam for $14.99. You can always get a refund if you play less than 2 hours and don't think it's worth the money in it's current state.

No need for pirating.

Hmm,that's interesting. But still my game crashed on "Reloading Lua" when i try to turn ON mod.Mod is working on 31.10,but when i try to read a book, game crashes again.

You may want to try uninstalling, clearing out your PZ folder (C:/Users/YourUserName/Zomboid) and then reinstalling and redownloading the mod. Something in your lua may have just gotten corrupt. Alternatively, your pirated version may not be complete or whoever you downloaded it from may have just stuffed a virus in it. As Nasko said, our game has no DRM so there's nothing to crack at all. If it says "Cracked" then they've been mucking around in the files for no reason and could've changed anything.

Good luck, and we hope you'll consider purchasing some day.
