Sorry my internet went down last week (March 9th) and I finally got it back up today. I have a huge update for you guys. I will try to get all WolfeClaw's new item in for Friday.

To answer your questions ....

 

1. A lot of objects have no uses yet, but I have plans for many of them to be used for something. Many can already be recycled though.

 

2. Basket are small containers yes,

 

3. If the team ever gets good enough to add Hygiene as a thing then defiantly. However for now they are more to fill in the world with items you would normally find.

 

4. The CCCP mod will be merged into Hydrocraft mod for the next update. So yes to some and not yet to others.

 

5. No function for compass or binocular yet. However I think you can "Play with" the binoculars.

 

6. Yes beekeeeping (aka Agriculture) will be a thing. I am resistant to add it as an item at the moment since my coder is close to getting a placable Compost Bin working. If we can get placable object in the game this opens up a lot of new things such as a bee hive.

 

7. You can already make bread in the base game. And like I said CCCP mod will be coming next update ith lots of new food items and recipes.

 

8. Yes the Fire Fighting mod shall be included in the next update too which allows for putting out fires on the ground and on yourself.

 

9. At the moment no fuels. But that is a good idea.

 

10. No no new medical stuff. Mostly just decorative items. However the Scalpel can be used as a weapon or to cut things.

 

11. No new skills added. Since the base game i under so much development in those areas I have been resistant to add anything like that. Rather put in stuff that likely not to be broken by future base game updates.

 

12. Not any item, but a good majority of items from both the base game and the mods new items.

 

13. Yup I like it too. We also will be introducing a Raincoat you can find and a Rain Poncho you can make from Garbage Bags next update.

It has been a long time between updates but Hydrocraft v1.5 is finally released! There are a lot of fixes and new items. Here are some important ones ...

 

- Added Fire Fighting Mod By Robyrq (Most of the Mod)

- Added CCCP By MickyPain (Most of the Mod)

- New Raincoats and Rain Ponchos (you can make them from garbage bags).

- New Bats and Clubs using Hedge Cutter Blades and Hedge Trimmer Blades

- The Nailgun is not only fixed but has its own custom sound!

- Lots of new Toys to play with.

- Even more types of food that was not in the CCCP mod such as Pears, more types of Jams, more types of Canned Foods, Grated Cheese, Hot Sauce and MRE.

- More Kitchen items such as a Pizza Stone, Juicer and Potato Masher.

- 3 sizes of Tupperware Containers you can fill with food or water. Food in Tupperware extends its freshness for about a month.

- More random items such as Bags of Clay, Bags of Charcoal and Bungee Cords.

- Many boxes of items have been updated to look better.

There may be a small bug with the new nail gun. It seems I don't get right click options to equip it.

 

Actually... there are no right click options at all. the only way it can even be dropped, is to drag and drop.

 

Same goes with the nail gun ammo, no right click options.

I am not sure what's wrong with yours. Are you using an old game or a new game? If an old game you may have a broken Nail Gun and need to find a new one. Remember it needs 10 Nail Gun Ammo to load. You can make Nail Gun Ammo out of Nails if you have Pliers, or turn Nail Gun Ammo into Nails if you have a Hammer.

Glad you figured it out. But yeah I also use JPM-ExtendedBuildingOptions and Irrigation Mod too. For the most part Hyrocraft should not mess with other mods too much.

 

If you do find a conflict please let me know.

 

In addition if any other modders want to help out with the Hydrocraft mod please let me know. We would be happy to have some help.

Well Hydrocraft has an Alice Pack. What other bags are in that mod? Note that Hydrocraft mod as a TON of bags.

 

 

He has:

-Medium Tool Bag, which I used for food or books. I use yours as my actual tool box.

-Large First Aid Kit, which I used for surgical items, ie.. suture needles, splints, bandages etc... I use your Doctor's Bag for pills (if I make it that far).

-Large and Medium Alice Packs (expandable). I used the large for a general pack and the medium for camping and fishing type things, along with your Fishing Tackle Box.

-Ammo Boxes which I used for, well ammo (;

 

I don't think I forgot any?

 

And I know there are a ton of bags in your mod. But you get used to certain bags for certain things. And since that was the very first mod I installed, I got quite used to just looking at them and equipping or grabbing the one I need for the task I was about to do.

 

I guess I'm just being too picky. I'll just have to change things up a bit until/if that mod gets fixed and hopefully it won't kill the nail gun for me.

 

Anywho, the mod is awesome and can't wait to see more of it.

I use to have it posted in the 2nd post but I hard trouble keeping it up to date since there were so many. Thus if you want to see the recipes just peak into the mod under Hydrocraft/media/scripts. The files can be opened with programs like Notepad or Wordpad. Here is an example ...

recipe Make Churn    {        WoodenStick,    Plank=2,    Nails=4,        keep Hammer,    keep Saw,        Result:HCChurn,    SkillRequired:Woodwork=6,        Time:100,    }

This basically says 1 Wooden Stick + 2 Plank + 4 Nails + 1 Hammer + 1 Saw = 1 Churn if you have Carpentry skill of 6 or better.
