The Journey and rise of Jane Doe

Recommended Posts

(The following is based off of actual experiences in multiplayer server, Evil Dead. Caution is advised, there may be humour, insanity and the occasional magical turn of events involved. You have been warned.)

Jane Doe- the alias taken by a retired military man, he was always cuckoo. Absolutely delirious to be precise. After his years of service he had taken a quiet, unassuming job at the local Muldraugh self storage facility, being its "warden" as he called it. Life was mediocre, he had an income, and while his pension had stopped being useful a long time ago as he spent it mostly on Blackjack and hookers, he had a means to supplement himself.

But the deranged old man longed for something more- he longed for a return to the field, to satisfy his battle lust and to achieve something more then a washed up drill sergeant working a minimum wage job full time in post recession Kentucky.

However... that's when it all happened. The timeline of events are skewered now- no one exactly knows how it went down, what caused it, who what why and when. All that is now, is the Kentucky state and most likely the rest of the world is over encumbered with the undead menace, prowling the streets of yesteryear stalking on the survivors of this post apocalyptic world.

Jane Doe saw it as his opportunity to rise and claim his own corner. His military bravado, experience and outright insanity gave him the needed drive and hoarding of resources to firmly secure and fortify the Self Storage Facility in Muldraugh, and he took the complex of warehouses and christened it Fort Jane. The sparse radio frequencies that were about, to all passerbys within reception distance he blatantly stated all were welcome! Fort Jane is a benevolent entity. Regardless of the man's intentions, rough things were stirring for the future of Fort Jane...

(To be continued, I have more to add to this, and this story is actually still ongoing in the Evil Dead server, as the guy hasn't died yet.)
