Ironfist56
Hello everyone, Me and my friend Greg are currently making ourselves a little indie game. Our plans are very complex and this is the first game we have ever made so it could turn into anything, but we're enjoying making it so before someone lectures me on "Your ideas are too complex you have no chance" I want you to know that whatever this turns into, it will be fun! I can assure you of that. Anyhoo here is the link to the blog - http://thesaharagame.blogspot.co.uk/ Give it a look, I hope you like the idea and sprites I have already made. We started word a couple of days ago and we are making good progress, let me know what you think! Thanks
Klldarkness
I really like the idea. I can tell that you're going for a simplistic art style, and that opens up alot of creative avenues. I write music in my free time, for fun mostly. This is the "simple" looping intro I wrote for a game idea I had a few years back: http://vocaroo.com/i/s0AElZu3sYoU If you need some music for your game, send me a message, and we can talk. I'm always looking for fun, new projects, and I really like yours.

Klldarkness
Quick update for anyone interested: I was accepted as Lead Music Designer for The Sahara. I've started working on some music for the game, and have two pieces far enough along that I felt okay with showing them off today. First, we have the music for the title screen:http://vocaroo.com/i/s18cwpgs6Sj5 And the music for one of the races in the game. This music would play while in the capital city:http://vocaroo.com/i/s1lw9fCZZ0cx In other news, Greg, our programmer has managed to sneak in collision detection, and has been working on the shooting mechanics this week. I've heard rumors(Hint Hint) of an in house playable demo some time this week, which should be a huge help for me. I'll have more coming up as I make it. Be sure to check out the blog linked in the first post for updates on the game itself, or post here if you have any questions!
Maverick
Hey there, I'm always looking to help other indie projects out. If you need any web-based programming (PHP, SQL, etc.) let me know. Otherwise, if you would like a more professional web-front, I'd be happy to help with that
