  1. Hey Guys, This isn't my game - but I feel like I need to mention it here since the game look extremely good, even more so considering it's an indie game. Basically, you're the only survivor of a plane crash on an island, and the idea of the game is to survive and thrive on this island, however it's already inhabited by a mutated tribe of cannibals that lurk underground and come up to hunt during the night. You need to eat, drink, and sleep, keep warm, etc. You can chop down any tree, and use the logs to build a shelter, and to craft tools and weapons out of sticks and stones. Oh and it has Oculus Rift support! Sounds a bit like Minecraft, but watch the two trailers: Here's the description from the official website: Build, explore, survive in this terrifying first person survival horror simulator. The world Enter a living, breathing forest with changing weather patterns, plants that grow and die. Tides that roll in and out with the day/night cycle. Below ground explore a vast network of caves and underground lakes. Complete player freedom Chop down trees to build a camp, or start a fire to keep warm. Scavenge food to keep yourself from starving. Find and plant seeds to grow food. Build a small shelter or a large ocean side fortress. decorate your home with found items. Lay traps and defenses to keep a safe perimeter. Gameplay Explore and build during the day. Defend your base at night. Craft weapons and tools.Bunker down during the evening or bring the fight directly to the enemy. Fight or Hide Use stealth to evade enemies, or engage them directly with crude weapons built from sticks and stones. A new type of open world, survival horror experience Defend yourself against a clan of genetic mutant enemies that have beliefs, families and morals and that appear almost human. So, what do you guys think? Are you excited for this game? Personally I cannot wait for this, I felt I should post this here to spark some more interest in the game as it seems to currently be quite unknown to most and I think it deserves more attention. -GodWaffle
  2. Build 25 Originally, I wanted to build my safehouse on the lake but the game wouldn't let me. Besides, the water tiles are very ugly. (No offense to the devs) I built my safehouse on top of Giga Mart. The highest point is 6 stories off the ground... I think. I'm safe from all zombies and I'm self-sustaining. 3. From what I understand if you die on a character and reload that save you'll be able to replay the same map but have to make a new character. I was thinking that if you happened to come upon the body of your old character and search him/her you'd find a wallet. Ex. John Doe's wallet If you right mouse click and have a spade in your inventory then you get the option (Bury dead) to bury your old character. Body disappears and is replaced with a simple shoveled rectangular plot of dirt. Alternatively, an etched stone with the characters name on it if on certain types of tiles. (In a shop, home, etc.) Ex. John Doe's grave It'd be really cool to role-play the new character as a coworker/friend/sibling of the old character. Bored one day and have nothing to do? Go on a visit to the grave of your fallen buddy. Maybe pour a bottle of wine/whisky on the ground in honor of him.
  4. I went through all of the logging co. buildings gathering most everything of value. Then I made my way to the large warehouse where I fought furocisoly to hold and secure it. When I finally managed it I went through everything in the large warehouse and started sorting and placing things in different storage contrainers on the 2nd floor. I hung sheet rope from all the 2nd floor windows and was about to destory the stairs leading to it. I decided to first test the sheet rope. I had more than enough sheet rope to make it long enough so I wasn't worried about it. When my character went down the sheet rope from the 2nd floor he somehow glitch-fell and injured himself badly. I decided to go back up the sheet rope and he went up it and climb back through the window then glitch-teleport-fell to the ground again and died. I spent hours on this character trying to make a secure safe house and he goes and dies from a glitch. So much mental patience went into this character and it's all gone. I would feel slightly differently if he had died legitly but this is just bull. Is there any possible way to revert back a few minutes, an hour, or a day?
