  1. you need to implement crows in the game besides having the scary noise we know, it would bring a grim atmosphere to the game, imagine you killed a lot of zombies and the crows stay in your bodies eating the rotten meat and when you get close they fly attracting more zombies. THIS WILL BE A PERFECT ADDITION TO THE GAME, AND I DOUBT ANYONE PLAYING THIS GAME WOULD NOT LIKE IT.

  3. I have been playing Project Zomboid since the continued smothering of bald spot's wife. When i first started playing zombies were a bit intimidating at first but after a few hours i would be fighting off hordes. Several updates later the new combat system came into play and i though this would bring me a scare or two but hasn't. I haven't been worried or afraid to enter a house or building with more than three zombies in it. I just fight them off simply enough and grab the loot and leave. I never get bit or scratched unless i am on multiplayer and alt tab quick or get hit while typing in chat. I am pretty good at the game but that can't be a reason for the game to be easy or at the least not scary, right? Is anyone else having the same or similar experience as me? Start off looking for bags and an axe, then once you have those you pick a safe house and just loot till you have enough supplies to fortify it way more than really necessary. Once you have your non-impenetrable safe house you either start leveling all your skills or just loot till you own everything. Then you just save/quit and never load that save again. I never really play till i die, i just play till i get to the point where anything else would just be a waste of time. If zombies were a bit scary just a bit this wouldn't happen like this, you would be made to rush out of places like alarmed houses. What do you do to keep things scary or challenging, besides taking all the negative traits to gimp yourself or giving them super strength/speed?
  4. http:/wwww.youtube.com/user/xmrspyx Hello it's Matthew Mayne from the UK, I am currently the only developer of my game called "One Starry Night". One Starry Night was started 5 months ago as a hobby when I was bored, then it turned into something magical for me so I started posting YouTube videos of it. Very few people see these videos but I want to show you my project to a greater audience and get advice on what I should tweak/remove from my game that I am developing. If you have ever played slender the game-play style is very similar but in ways is different, for example Slender has no animations or cut scenes, my game does, slender revolves around finding notes, One Starry Night revolves around looking for information on what had just happened before your plane crashed, this can be found via radio. Not that slender is a bad game I just need to tell you the differences as there is a limited amount of footage I can show you via YouTube. These are some screenshots that I've got of my game currently as I do not have my computer handy. Plot: The game starts of the protagonist going to bed while very sleepy, his butler says to him that his flight to Los Angeles is booked for 6 A.M when he proceeds to leave the building and a radio broadcast starts to play giving information on what's about to happen to you. The room the cut-scene plays in (Unfinished) The map of One Starry Night is 700m long in this map you will find abandon building, wrecked settlements, some old antiques. Thanks for reading please leave a reply!
  5. Hey, We are an indie game development team called VisionArts and are currently in development of our survival horror game called Middle of Nowhere. Middle of Nowhere isn't just jumpscare based, nor is it full of action when it's meant to be survival horror. Instead, it's unforgiving to the player and survival is at upmost importance. Our story is engaging to the player, we want to create a unique experience while taking influence from the old survival horror games such as Silent Hill and Resident Evil. We're ready to give Middle of Nowhere our all to make it a success and hope it's a game that everyone knows about. For now, we have a little teaser trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEcWDY3pr3Y Here's a synopsis: You are Isaac, father of Emily, an unusual young girl having premonitions of a lost world she calls Nowhere. Emily is Isaac's priority and so with no hesitation, decides to pursue the chance of finding a specialized doctor to help with Emily's condition which results in a fatal car crash. You wake up in a lost world with only one thing that matters; Emily is missing. You immediately come to realise this is no ordinary world and have to use your instincts of survival to find Emily. You encounter many deformed creatures in what seems like a beautiful post-apocalyptic world but is actually hell. You have to fight or run to pursue Emily, either that or she could be gone forever. Can you save her? The year is 2020 and time is running out for Isaac. From the moment Emily was born, her life became his. It was only soon after they found out about Emily's unknown medical condition otherwise known as her premonitions. Isaac has spent his life trying to find a doctor to help with Emily's condition and as time progresses, she worsens. Emily's premonitions leave her in a lost state of Nowhere. A broken state of mind unknown to the world we live in. No one has ever heard of such a place or seen the things that dwelve inside it. Ever since Emily's mom Sarah disappeared, Emily's condition has spiraled. Isaac, almost left hopeless came across a specialized doctors name Aycrigg Orchard. Middle of Nowhere is set in a beautiful post-apocalyptic world in the year 2020 with a surreal reality, atmospheric environment surrounded by fog. Explore the remains of a lost world struck with disaster. Come across broken shanty-like shacks those of which used to be houses. Make your way through cold and shivering caves and find what awaits you. Take a tread through wet, swamp-like environments and feel the eerie atmosphere. Search a town that vanished from the world we know. This is no ordinary world, this is Nowhere.
