  1. Haven't posted in a while, have a question. Just gettin into zomboid again, as the addiction goes. I have written a script that will change skin texture of the player but the effect won't happen until the game is reloaded. I would post it, but it's not on this computer. Anyone see anywhere in the lua files anything about the reanimation scripts? I assume there is something in there that reloads textures due to the textures being different upon reanimation. I could be wrong, it could be an entirely new model loaded after death occurs. Any insight would be appreciated.
  2. Hello remaining few! How do you like reanimation as a new respawn method? The Option 0-100% respawn rate in the Zombie Options would be cool. Zombies lie down for 2-3 days after a kill, and then stand up again. The only way to kill them is by fire, so better be cool with that matches and gas. As in RL, your life depends on gas. :3 I know devs doesnt like reanimation, but i think its an simply and intelligent way to make the lategame interesting and unpredictable. Also a nice way to turn the early game into a nightmare.
  3. Greetings Survivors! How do you guys think about putting Zombies in a kind of two states? Let me explain: When you kill a Zombie by weapon, they should be dead for days, weeks.... After that, they should reanimate as state 2 Zombies as bloodless, rotten carcasses. The only way to kill Zombies eternally is to burn them bodys down with fire. Maybe this is a way to make the migration system obsolete and you can do some new sandbox experiments as well. Like carrying lots of corpses into buildings and wait for the horde to awake again. So you can create your own Zombie-Hotspots, create huge graves or turn a whole City into a (true) Safezone. Also: May rain wash away the blood on the streets?
