  1. I've been stuck at this screen for an indefinite amount of time after downloading mods in order to join a multiplayer server. No buttons work. I am playing on GeForce NOW with a GeForce RTX 4080 If you have any ideas on how to fix, please inform me, thank you!

When you create a fully undressed character in the "Customise Character" screen, save it and then reload, the clothing section displays random clothing items although your character doesn't wear any clothing. The problem occurs for me without any mods enabled. Here is the precise way how the bug occurs for me: 1. Go to the Customise Character menu and completely undress your character so that every box in the clothing section shows "None". 2. Save the character you created in step 1. 3. Press the Random button to create a new random character. 4. Load the character you created in step 1. Your character appears fully undressed as intended. However, the clothing section displays various random clothing instead of "None" everywhere. ----- Possible solution: I was able to enhance the described save/load behavior by inserting the command "self:updateSelectedClothingCombo();" after line 458 in the function "CharacterCreationMain:loadOutfit" in lua/client/OptionScreens/CharacterCreationMain.lua in the vanilla code. But just an idea...
  3. Hello everyone, first day & first post here. Let me tell you about our issue, we're currently hosting a private, dedicated server and we had this problem twice already. hile playing we disconnect and suddenly the next time we want to log back in the screen stops on the messege: "Loading 40/546 segments of the map" (or something like that). This blocks our character from loggin in, and kicks us back to the desktop, but not all of us, only the ones on Rosewood. 3 of my firnds play on Luisville and the rest of us are using the Fire department as a safehouse, this building got rolled back to zero (it even had water again 30/30) but our vehicles and carts were right where we left them. If we try loggin in with a new account, it lets us in, logs the whole map and everything, but our main characters are stuck on that screen. In addition to this, while driving around on this new characters we found a lot of "black squares" where the streets should've been, this lagged the game HARD and then *PUFF* the streets reapeared. We don't know if this issues are connected or not, but this rollbacks are killing the game for us. Any idea of what can be causing this ? We tried verifying the files, starting the server again from zero, uninstalling the game individually, copying and pasting the files of our saves/multiplayer folders, deleting the folders, and nothing fixed it.
  4. I'm sorry for my English, I'm Brazilian and I'm using the translator. My system: i5 3330, Graphics onboard, 4GB RAM. My problem: My game is crashing on the normal Build 41 and IWBUMS (I don't know the difference). When I open it for the first time, it still crashes on the menu, the second time it usually crashes on the map loading screen, when you finish loading and the map appears, a 5 error message will also appear in the lower right corner of the screen and the third time it crashes while playing, after a few moments. He just stops responding, and closes. It also features some graphic bugs where the shadow of the character and the walls is square. I think it's because of this error message.

  6. Hey I was playing on multiplayer earlier today and was playing just fine on the undertaking origins server. But after my pc crashed while playing it and I tried to relog once I got my pc sorted out it just got stuck on the black screen after This Is How You Died, also the click to skip button is still there too which i clicked multiple times and alas nothing happend sadly. So any ideas on how to fix this?   7. Hi Guys, I have a server running and hamachi, my friend is in my hamachi network and he can connect to the server.... but he does not see the map. My seerver is running, i can connect, all Portas are open etc. Also in the server log, there is a trying to connect from my friend, i can also see him in the players tab, BUT he cant see the map. it just keeps telling: Map is loading. But this does not go away (black screen). (waited for like 5 minutes, tried several times) I did find out, that a misconfigured server config could block myself from joining but as i can join i think this is ok now. So why does the map not load to a end and he can see the map ? I think he can actually conncet but this last bit is not falling into place. To be clear here, this is not the trapped in a server map issue, it is the starting connection loading. Thanks for any help
  8. I can't join my own server more than once. I get stuck on loading after the intro. Friends can join the server as much as they want. Only by deleting the world I can join again. Vantus explains the situation below: 2. Wait for server to start then launch Project Zomboid (64-bit), enter the correct IP, Port and a Username. Then join. 3. Success!! I'm on my server and playing without issue. (See just how fabulous my character is!) 4. I check the Player List to make sure I'm definitely online. Aah-yup! 5. I decide I don't like being quite so fabulous so I decide to come out of the game. 6. I forgot I left a dead rat in the cooker at Bob and Kates house, so I decide to go back in to stop it! (Without closing, restarting or deleting the server) 7. Unfortunately my days of being fabulous are over because I am unable to get back in. I am presented with a forever loading screen. 8. I alt+tab to check the console and see this: 9. I cry into my Weetabix. So there you have it. I'm sorry I didn't have any of my friends around to occupy the server as back up in my screenshots but I can confirm that while I experience all of the above, they can join and disconnect as frequently as they wish, even with new characters. The only way for me to get back into multiplayer again is to delete the "servertest" folder in my User>Zomboid>Sandbox directory, thus undoing any work we've achieved on that world save. I am then subject to my One-time-connect rule in the new world save. Rinse and repeat. I hope this helps or at least highlights where it is I am going wrong! What I have to add is that I tried hosting the server on a second laptop in my wifi, and joined with laptop-A (using local IP of the second laptop) and got same results. So I don't think this is about using the same machine, but using the same router(?). Some router info:
  9. Every server I try and log on to plays out the opening cinematic saying this is how you died and then becomes stuck on a black loading screen. I have waited up to an hour and no change. The commnad box says something about Java.io.filenotfound access is denied. Help please!!!!!!!!!
