Quick question, hoping someone knows this. I made a load bearing vest, backpack, and hat in blender and replaced the "chops" beard style with my model. In-game when I rotate around to where the backpack should be visible from behind it becomes transparent. Anyone know why this is happening? Picture attached. The line on his back in the right picture is a strap on the LBV seen through where the backpack should be. Here it is again in black for a different view: Here, in the right picture you can see what appears to be 2 straps, but the further right one is the edge of the backpack. This shit's weird. Also, for anyone adding or planning to add custom models, particularly clothing or gear, here is a picture of how thick I had to make the straps and shit in order for it to look good rendered in the game. They were much thinner when I first started but would disappear into the body and clothes in-game.
Hi everyone (especially Will!), As the first thread in this new forum it's my honor to introduce the game I've been working on with my friend Peter Nicholls, Legends of Firestorm, it's an action based MMO supporting hundreds of players per server fighting thousands monsters in a giant open world. We've also just launched a kickstarter over here : Legends of Firestorm Really looking forward to hear what you think!
Hi everyone. I'm just trying to do some free promoting for a new Kickstarter game called Aterra. In a nutshell it's a first person viewpoint fantasy patformer with the ability to change the direction of gravity anytime, any direction. It is like a pleasant mixture of the Portal games and Planescape with a hint of Thief. The game looks sweet and is sure to scratch many genre itches, especially if you like any of the games above. As of this writing the Kickstarter campaign has just started to reach the goal which is £9001 (yes, it's over 9000). I'm just trying to get the word out so we can make the game happen. Please check out the link or search for Aterra on Kickstarter. If the game looks like something you would like to play then please back the project, even it's only £1 every little bit helps. Thanks for reading and your time http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1608554263/aterra (Greetings from KisDre, member of VVVaVe)
