  1. Hey all, been playing a bit more recently. After some goofing around with nothing equipped, I cringe at the animation while running empty-handed. It looks like your character is trying to keep in a doopie, or like they're doing a penguin run. Meanwhile, running with weapons equipped looks pretty kickass. I know an animation update is coming soon, but I hope this is seen and may be added.
  2. Okay, so I suggest better occupational traits. For example I had this idea of a survivalist occupation. But the survivalist would have access to certain building materials that other occupations wouldn't. Like specialized survival stuff, like being able to craft a primitive bow using wilderness things or being able to navigate better using nature or tell the time using the sun which others wouldn't be able to do (possibly having to find watches and in game maps.) But why not do it for all occupations? Like construction worker gets a better trait that gives him options to better buildings right off the bat. Something not too OP but that lets him get a foot up in that area more so than someone who is of a different occupation? What does everyone think?
  3. I was playing the game when a thought popped into my head,"Oh my god, spanish guitar would fit this PERFECTLY! It fit The Last of Us well, didn't it? So why not this!?" and so that's the story. Just some dramatic depressing spanish guitar to fit the atmosphere of the game.
  4. I was showing this game off to my little cousins, (Which are now taller than me.) at my family reunion and they really liked the game. I think I got him to buy it as well but I am not sure. The Point: He saw me look for stuff inside of the house and he said. "They should make the walls disappear or make it a toggle icon on the side like the sims." Now in the SIMS you can make the walls just an outline on the ground. I think that would look better. Still hide the zombies behind walls and all. The walls just get in the way of seeing things most of the time and it would be a nice toggle to have. Making it easier to see. (Still make things hidden behind walls.)
  5. This is the start of my Vanilla replacement mod. This is pretty much how I play the game, as I edit a bunch before I can play . NOTE: I didn't change anything that would mess up other mods, all the vanilla items are the same, I just either changed their item types, or made new items to add to vanilla. Things I changed: Organized the items a little better, mainly for me and other modders.You can now repair a broken hammer with a screwdriver and some screws.Pens and pencils now have uses, to make into a weapon you need to tie a ripped sheet on it.Whiskey now has many more uses. (I can't stand the taste of alcohol so I sip)Wine now spawns in the world, with comparable uses to whiskey.Can now barricade with more items. (pan, golf club, axe and more)More items now have the ability to jaw stab, like knifes. (screwdriver, pool cue and more)You can wear socks instead of shoes but get less warmth than shoes. (should it be more?)More stuff I forgot but makes it better. To be added or changed: vanilla boredom reducers to get uses some other stuff, change weights, stuff.... INSTALL MOD:BACKUP THE FOLLOWING FILES FROM YOUR PZ FOLDER:items.txt,newitems.txt,recipes.txt Make sure you backup above files........ Copy the "media" folder from the mod zip file into your Project Zomboid game directory, OVERWRITE the files you already backed up listed above, it will add the mod files into your "media/lua" and "/media/scripts" directories.   6. So ya, is there a better way than below to spawn items? I've been running into Swap Buffer errors when starting games and sometimes loading a save-game (maybe one in every 20 starts error out, but I start hundreds of games daily, testing stuff out..), only with a load of items mods that spawn a massive amount of stuff. table.insert(SuburbsDistributions["all"]["bin"].items, "EntomophagyMod.KMDragonFly1");table.insert(SuburbsDistributions["all"]["bin"].items, 1.7);
  7. I would like to see the pens and pencils have a UseDelta and be Drainable, with the pencil running out quick and the pen lasting longer. The only way to do this is to make the base vanilla pen and pencil into Drainable items instead of weapons. You could then add a weaponization crafting recipe using a ripped sheet or something and the pen or pencil to make it a weapon, once you make it a weapon you cannot change it back nor can you write with it.
