  1. Project Chernaurus Buildings and such will be posted here from now on. Hope you all enjoy. Map is complete (minus buildings and such.) There are placeholder tiles for where buildings will be placed. The map size is 6000px x 6000px. It's a huge map.Buildings and whatnot are what's left (basically everything) to make it a real fun map to get immersed in!! Update: 2/11/2014 Chernogorsk I am currently constructing the city of Cherno, with the help of Maklane, I have a couple buildings to get started, while making my own buildings for the world. If I do use other members buildings I will be sure to credit those as well. Hopefully won't take too long and I will post pictures of the progress. Thank y'all for visiting! Update: 2/24/2014 Getting more buildings created, been a bit busy with life, but still building on my off days and whenever I have a chance to work on them. Learned a bit about custom tiles, might have my own tiles made for the castles, from some examples I've seen online. Also will be making cracked, peeled walls, a more run down look for Chernarus. New roof tiles and so on. dead body tiles and other miscellaneous tiles for atmosphere. Update: 5/4/2014 Project Chernaurus will be suspended until further notice. (Due to a busy work schedule). I am very happy with the work I've been putting in to make it the best fun map to play on so hopefully I'll get back to it and get it up and running so all can enjoy in the near future. I've been out a while and haven't really updated anything but before the busy weeks I finished placing buildings in Chernogorsk and most of the map is finished. I had some random close calls with TILEZED almost failing and causing memory issues. I guess the map has so many nooks and crannies to explore which made it bigger and more memory intensive but all that is really left is touch ups and things of that nature. So even though I've finished all the easy work now is where the HARD WORK begins and where I will leave it for the time being until I have more time to myself and my hobby as opposed to WORK, FAMILY and SCHOOL. I'm sorry about the bad news!! I will be out of contact with this forum for a while, but will randomly visit the website whenever I have a chance!! Again so sorry for the news!!   3. Iv'e been playing PZ for a good 3 years now and one of the things that seriously needs to be nerfed is the DAMN HELICOPTER! Before, it was cool with just the swaying away here and there, but now it seriously looms over you like the freakin eye of sauron. I even did a few tests were I stayed in the building, never went out, and all of a sudden MAGICALLY the helicopter appears over my house and begins its looming killing my character. Seriously unrealistic trick to kill the player. Just like a poorly cheap magician's parlor trick, this really kills the magic of the game. Another good analogy is those pay to win games where you reach a certain point of the game where you need to start paying because the difficulty gets so hard, same with the helicopter. The game realizes your living a bit too long so they BLAST you with a helicopter without no gradual progression. The game literally is saying TIME TO DIE HERE IS A HELICOPTER NOW WEEEEEE! Don't you all agree?

You will be able to claim a Safehouse after 1 day of survival and you will be able to create a faction after 2 days. 1 day is 2 hours real-time. We will also be soon holding some more Survival Night events, where you will spawn into a different dedicated server than the above one and be presented at a load up point. You will then have 10 minutes to gather weapons, ammo and supplies, before being teleported to a random building and there you will have to all work together to defend and survive waves of zeds set upon you.   6. Hi all, I am going to be starting a new server soon called "M700N's Survival Night". There is a brief description below but for the full details of how it works and how to join, you will have to join our Discord server by following this invite link; https://discord.gg/pUXV9pp How Survival Night works; These are 1 night events and will be announced in the #sn-announcements channel on our Discord server. Survival Night is basically a PvE Horde/Battle Royal type game mode. You will all be spawned into the same location (inside a ready built fort) and all spawn in with the same equipment. You will then have 10 minutes to get set up before the hordes of zeds start attacking the fort. As it is PvE only the Zeds can kill you. It is your decision if you go at it lone wolf or decide to work as a team (I fancy the latter option myself) and try to survive for as long as possible. If you are a member on my PvE Server "M700N's UK PvE Server" then the position you come in the Survival Night match will earn you gifted awards to use within our PvE server.   8. First of all I want to thank the people at The Indie Stone for such an amazing game. So I began this project very recently. I've always wanted to survive the zombie infested lands where I live myself and the surrounding towns.   11. Hi all, I wonder if a community map project is on the way to fill up the existing map. With the creative mode coming from build 33. A mapping project to complete it (ie zone around the railyard, unfinish zones with roads or the warehouse out of town with no roads) could be nice. Maybe the devs could add it to the game if it's well done? I'm not a mapper, but that new tool remember me the building mode from the sims. I will learn how to use it and take time to make my own project. Creating new houses and neighborhood. But, if someone starts a mapping project I will follow him!
  12. http://pzserverlist.us/ is the first server top list out that I'm aware of. This allows you to have your members go, and vote on your server while ranking you higher into the ranks. The higher you're ranks are, the more members and views you will get for your server. PZServerList has the option to add your URL to your website, IndieStone forum post, ect. for your server which will get you even more traffic. It's as easy as joining, and filling out the information. Send your members to it for views, raitings, ect. and watch the members of your Project Zomboid server grow. The reason this was created was due to the fact that I googled thinks like "Project Zomboid Servers" "Project Zomboid Server List" and lots more, and could barely find any servers that works, nor did I find any website on google that had more than 2-3 servers on it. The steam forums had none, and TheIndieStone.com wasn't even listed among them. Also, I made sure to have a link to ProjectZomboid.com in the 'cool links' section REMEMBER You get higher rank if you send users to your post on the site, as well as using the link provided after making an account and putting it on any website to send users over. This is how you vote for the site. You can send them manually to your post and have them click the vote button. Regardless of how they vote, this is how you gain ranks on the site, and get higher up. Due to many new members not knowing how to rank higher, as well as lots of other questions I've added a FAQ page. Which tells you the best ways to get ranked, what In's Out's, ect. are, and lots of other things. Resident Evil's Raccoon City This map is created along side it's corresponding mod I will be re-creating Racoon City based on the game series, it will feature many different 'landmark' buildings such as the mansion, police station, clock tower etc. Some locations from the movies e.g The Hive may be implemented, so if there's anything you would like to see, feel free to suggest putting them in. Here is my progress so far; Full Scale Map - The map is currently 1200 x 900 pixels, that is 4 x 3 game cells Spencer Mansion Raccoon Police Department (RPD) Kendo's Gun Shop RE3 Start Warehouse RE3 Bar Jack (Bar Where You Meet Brad) Stagla Gas Station (Waiting on custom signs + detail to be added in tiled) Will update this when I do each new area, so please give some feedback on what you think so far as I will continue to work on this regularly. Up Next; - Spencer Mansion exterior buildings (Guardhouse, lab etc) - Racoon City Police Department (RPD) - Kendo's Gun Shop - Hospitals, schools etc Ideally this will slowly piece together to create one large recreation or Racoon City, and if anyone is a fan of the series and would like to help out with ideas, mapping, sprites etc feel free to pm me. I wasn't sure where to post this due to the fact that: A: I've already figured out a workaround B: It has more to do with Resources than actual modding I'm not entirely certain weather its due to IntelliJ 3.1.1, the new lua filesystem for Zomboid or just the IWBUMS version 25.2 but I am having issues opening the Zomboid lua project. After opening project lua, I am given an error stating: Error Loading Project: Cannot load module lua When looking at the details of this error, you are given a window stating: Cannot load module file 'C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\ProjectZomboid\media\lua\lua.iml':File C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\ProjectZomboid\media\lua\lua.iml does not existWould you like to remove module 'lua' from the project? Now obviously this is because lua.iml is in ....\Steam\SteamApps\common\ProjectZomboid\media\lua\server\lua.imlHowever, you can still get the project to load properly if you import module zomboid.iml from ....\Steam\SteamApps\common\ProjectZomboid\media\lua\zomboid.iml. At this point the project will work correctly but you will still be given another error stating: Unknown Module TypeCannot determine module type ("LUA_MODULE") for the following module:"zomboid"The module will be treated as a Unknown module. Am I the only one having issues with this? Does anyone have any further information as to why this is occurring?

We are Rich Tomato, a team of five recently graduated game designers from Brisbane, Australia and we are here to announce that we just released our first game BioGloom on the Google Play store! BioGloom is a 2-D survival adventure game similar to other titles such as Osmos, Flow and Ecco the Dolphin. You play as Lumen, an alien angler fish struggling for survival in the depths of Earth's oceans. The game primarily revolves around the player changing their light colour to eat different coloured smaller fish whilst avoiding larger predators and hazards through four unique environments. BioGloom was created as Rich Tomato's final project for their game design course at Qantm College in Brisbane. The game went on to win Best Game and Best in Show at the SAE Qantm Grad Show on January 30th.   22. So, how was the first weekend on steam? I'd like to know (and no hard numbers, maybe estimates or so) how many people had bought / were playing PZ before and after the steam release... I'm just curious and interested in how the steam start went and how satisfied you are with the way it went so far. I think you guys are doing a great job! Cheers! Zombies tend to gather to places in more of the urban, but Hordes are known to be traveling near the LakeFeatured items: TV remote - Used primarily to turn on tv's (until power goes out) and create a distraction for player to move through homes or even the middle of town with a little bit more safety.Camcorder - Can use to make a video and play said video in any tv to lower boredom for self or other npc's (NPC's would be able to make videos during time that they aren't scavenging, hunting, etc.)I'd really like some feedback for this idea since I personally felt it was good, but I usually think that about most of my ideas.
  24. I was considering this statement earlier while roaming about West Point, and thought what trolls would do and how it would affect the experience of PZ. I pondered one scenario; someone shooting a shotgun saying, "ha fagets i'm c00l shotin shotgun umad?" and attracting zombies to them and meeting their ultimate demise. Do you think the multi-player will be a fuckfest of trolls? I'm interested to hear your thoughts.
  25. Hey.. It could be me, but I'm running the game. (Tried both 64 Bit and 64 Bit Compatibility.) And I'm getting some frame-rate issues, and lag. I use ZSpawn and it seems to lag even worse when I pull that menu up. Methinks it may be the graphics? Could it? I dunno.. If you need my specs, ask. Running Windows 7, 64 Bit.
