  1. I think there should be a kleptomaniac trait that makes you gain stress after not looting new items for a while.
  2. Hello Everyone!!! How are you? Fine, Thank You!! 😺😺 I was remembering Project Zomboid just now and came up with an idea for a very interesting negative Trait that could make the game more mysterious and frightening: Schizophrenic Trait!!! Some exclusive features of this trait that could be added: 1 - Metagames: False Metagames events, where some of the off-screen events do not attract or direct the zombies in the game. New exclusive Metagame events, like ramdom voices, whispers and screams, also can have sounds of footsteps. 2 - Moodles: There is also the possibility of randomly adding one of these moods to each metagame related to what is happening in the game: Unhappy, Panic, Stress, bored or Fadigue. With this also comes the chance to add new moods, such as: Fear and hallucination (which can bring many possibilities, such as scary black zombie shadows appearing and disappearing quickly on the screen or order many mini-events). 3 - Cure: This trait has no cure, but it can be controlled by the use of Antipsychotics, which can drastically reduce the effects and the rate at which it occurs, making it a very rare debuff, each pill lasts about 40 hours, which means that you can take a single dose a day and reach equilibrium in 5 days. 4 - Points: I believe that because it is an incurable trait and has a considerable number of disadvantages, +10 points would be a well-balanced number. This is all just an idea of what could be applied, changes or additions would be widely requested, since all this is just a draft of an idea that could become one of the best, most immersive and most game changing traits in the game.
  3. A 1 point trait that if the player eats anything peanut related they could get sick.
  4. Hello, New to the game and all, however I felt that I'd throw in my hat into the mix, just in case if someone gets some sort of inspiration from it. So, here's the idea: Sanity. As a negative trait(because if this was for everyone, it'd be quite the nuisance), the idea is that you're a "mentally questionable" individual, who has a very impressionable mind. With a literal apocalypse occurring, it is detrimental that you not only keep yourself alive, but keep your head intact, as well. The concept would be drawing inspiration from how sanity works in some other games, such as "Don't Starve", or "The Forest". The player is obviously much more impacted by unhappiness, boredom, and panic, which all play a part in determining the "Sanity" of the player. "Sanity" by itself could be its own system that relies and uses all of the previous mentioned to calculate itself, with its own moodles and effects(or by worsening already-existing effects). If you cannot keep all in check, the status progresses into a state of disarray, with negative effects such as possibly hearing things that aren't there, a much more severe state of panic, and possibly seeing things that don't exist. An extreme could potentially be inflicting accidental damage to yourself, while hitting objects or shooting weapons, or maybe even running/sprinting. The intention is to add on another challenge to the game, that could immerse the player in a much more drastic manner. Especially considering how much a zombie-apocalypse would affect someone mentally in a realistic scenario, I see this concept quite viable, and just another layer to make the game that much more unique. I won't indulge into going too specific into how I think this mechanic should go, as I want to leave it up to interpretation. Feedback is very much appreciated!
  5. This might have already been mentioned, but I'm going to give it a go anyways. Could we get a "food allergy" trait of some sort as a negative? I think it could be pretty fun. Maybe nut allergy, dairy allergy, or gluten intolerant or something so you have to be more careful about what you eat :O
  6. Been thinking of some traits that might be cool to have in the game.. Camel - Doesn't have to drink as much Photographic memory - can read skill books that are too higher level and they will work when you hit that level. Chimeny - you're a chain smoker, you gain happiness (or some other buff) from smoking but if you haven't smoked in a while it gives you debuffs. deaf, blind & dumb - bad vision, bad hearing and can't read or read slower (combineds 2 of the old traits and the new one in build 31) Adamantium skeleton - your bones are stronger and break less often e.g. chance your feet won't break from falling. 88 fingers edward - can reload much much faster even when panicking. Rock hard forearms - chance you won't cut your arms when smashing a window without a weapon. Bear grylls - Much much much better at trapping and finding berries! Berries and animals take away more hunger and less happiness. Impatient eater - Hunger increases while managing food (cooking food/transfering food into inventory) That's all I have at the moment
