  1. I was hoping the 41.40 update would fix it, but maybe it got missed ? Anyway, here are some clips to show the issue : sometimes when hitting a zombie, the character freezes in place (you can see the legs/feet moving but the character stays in the same place) until the "hit" animation is over, making you vulnerable. It only seems to happen with 1-handed/handled weapons. The "movement disruption" is enabled, and this is a world I created after the last update. 1.mp4 2.mp4
  2. The push for more realistic player movement is admirable, but some of the ways the player character moves is just clumsy and unrealistic. You should be able to move backwards while fighting zombies much more quickly. Like, all you're doing is holding an object while walking in reverse - it's not that hard. A normal person should be able to move in reverse faster than any zombie can "shamble." Maybe make a "combat posture" and a "mobility posture" that can be toggled back and forth with the jogging hotkey. Look at how clumsy this is - I shouldn't need to completely disengage to keep
  3. Hello everyone, sorry, nevermind. Keep continueing your beautiful creation! I wish i could delete this topic. have you thought of implementing an option which enables the player to turn his head (viewing cone) seperated from the movement direction, looking at the position of the mouse cursor, but only to a certain degree of course - maybe just something like a 60°~70° viewing angle. I would image this would smooth out movement quite a bit and add even more "realism" to this beautiful game. (Maybe this was suggested before, i couldn't find anything via search)
  4. This mod aims to allow the player to move using the left mouse button. By enabling this mod you will move to a location in the same manner as the right click contextual option but by simply left clicking on the desired location. This does not remove WASD controls. To Do: 1) Bugs, bugs, bugs. 2) Add an options menu to toggle it on and off. 3) Make the meatbag "Run To" while while "Shift" is being held. 4) Make combat work more naturally with this system. 5) Make sneaking work with this system. 6) Bugs, bugs, bugs. Latest Update: <>The meatbag no longer ignores containers or cancels mo
  5. Ok first of all I would like to warn everyone that this will be a VERY long post so if you intend to read all of it, hope you are comfy and have all you need. Second of all I would like to say I didn’t steal anyone’s ideas, I have had most of these for months but have not bothered to post them until I had them in an ok format. Third of all and the last thing before I start please remember nothing is confirmed and some of these ideas may reference my other posts and or upcoming posts so some things not implemented in the game may be talked about for possibilities of the future. Thank you and en
  6. Hello everyone. This is going to a long post but if the devs pay attention it will make PZ a more enjoyable experience for everyone, so bear with me. I am probably not the only one that is annoyed by how zombies destroy all objects in their path, but this is not about that. This is about something else that annoys me because it isn't realistic. This is about horde movement. Have you noticed how when you clear an area it doesn't take long for zombies to overwhelm it again? How annoying it is to see small clumps of zombies neatly interspersed, almost equidistantly from each other, when just
  7. Sound draws zombies, and since rain causes sound maybe they would be much more active during rain. Moving about almost constantly and being much more alert to stimuli (other than sound of course which would be slightly dulled). I think this would be a really cool addition and increase immersion, difficulty during rain storms, blah blah (insert excuse for putting it in game here).
  8. It seems weird that there is this pretty large map with streets all over the place and yet no vehicles or easy ways to get from Westpoint to Muldraugh or vise-versa. If there were cars, bikes or trucks that could smash down walls if traveling at a certain speed that'd be great too. I believe you could also impliment the ability to take fuel from different vehicles for molotov cocktails or for your personal transport. Using sound for starting the car and car alarms would be impressive. I believe the best way to to use this and so getting cars isnt so easy is that you have to find keys po
  9. First- I am unsure if this has been discussed or not, as I can not locate the 'search' feature for the forums . Second- Whether it will be re-added or not, I am unsure, but I figured I would post it here anyway. I remember playing PZ when it first came out a while back and that you could select how you moved (IE: button on the bottom of the screen switches between keys moving you diagonally or vert/hor with single-key presses). I would personally like to see this feature brought back as I thought it made navigation a bit better. ~WolfenRayneGames
  10. The title speaks for itself, i'd like to see the option of crouching added in the near future. Maybe it could give us a less chance of zombies hearing or seeing us...
