  1. To recreate this, you'll need a watch or some other way to determine in-game time. What happens is that the game will hang momentarily every time the clock is transitioning into the next 10 minute window. As an example, imagine I'm just walking around at 12:30 and suddenly the game hangs for a moment; as soon as I'm able to resume control, the clock will now read 12:40. I'm guessing there is some internal operation happening every 10 in-game minutes that is causing this hang. This isn't something I've noticed on previous iterations of build 41 but in fairness, I've been away from the game for the last couple of months, so I can't offer a specific patch that started this problem. I'll be glad to offer any help I can.
  2. Hello everyone! We are currently looking for a few dedicated and active people that would like to test Hydrocraft and report bugs a bit closer with us! So if there is anyone who would like to participate, this will surely help the development of the Build 41 version a ton! We will also send an invite to our Discord server to make communication easier! Now on to the good news. The "Beta 1" version of Hydrocraft for Build 41 is currently available! Beta versions are to be considered "IWBUMS" so there could be game breaking issues and require some games to be restarted. So for anyone who wants to play Hydrocraft until it is considered to be stable enough to be released publicly, there will be periodic releases there once in a while. It would be really appreciated if bug reports would be done on GitHub but any other channel will still be considered Thanks!! With multiplayer coming for IWBUMS 41 I think it would be a good idea to add more character customization options such as different faces for each gender and perhaps a few more hairs and facial hairs. This is a good idea because it means not everyone in multiplayer will have identical faces if their gender is the same and will allow for more difference in player characters making each character more unique and memorable. Another addition to add to this idea would be different clothing to make your character look cooler, one small addition to do this would be to make a wear zipped or unzipped option for leather jackets and leather coats (similar to wear hoop up / down on hoodies) then boom stuffa.
  5. Build 41 IWBUMS - When game is under a high load and FPS is low, vehicles lose almost all of their power and become incredibly slow and are unable to effectively run over zombies anymore. Have lost a few characters because a horde was chasing after me and I entered my vehicle, started it and it would take 15+ seconds to get to 10mph while the zombies moved at normal pace. Foraging seems to make your character tired incredibly quickly as well as not really gathering anything the area. Had foraging level 4. It is inconsistent with making the character immediately tired but it happens often enough that it is a pain. Eg, waking up in the morning, going to forage for food then immeditately getting to maximum tiredness by 9AM.
  6. Hey there, So we're trying to play the IWBUMS patch with my friend using the Steam Remote Play I'm the one playing with a PS4 Controller and my friend is using the mouse and keyboard. Everything is working fine except when I'm in game i cannot press X. If i do so it opens the 'control player 1 / add a new player etc..' menu wich is game-breaking since, as you probably know already, X is one of the most used key. I'm sorry if the subject as been taken care of already but i didn't find anything about it. I'm sorry about my english as well :p Thanks for your time

These aren't necessarily bugs, but a lack of implementation I started a game that was set on 'very cold' and 'very rainy' while running the infinite fog and relentless snow mods because i wanted heavy fog and freezing weather all the time for an interesting experience. For the most part I really like the result but ran into some issues. 1- You should be able to acquire water from snow, I was not able to get any water because it was snowing all the time. It would make sense to be able to collect snow from the ground and/or in a cooking pot, bucket, saucepan etc., then maybe you have to melt it to get potable water. 2- In the case of the game I was playing, it was below freezing outside and inside the whole time, sometimes reaching below -50 degrees F with the windchill; it would be really neato if you could drop food items on the ground and the environment would act like a freezer when the temperatures are low enough, keeping them from spoiling 3- It might also make sense for the weather/temperatures to effect growing certain crops, i still haven't got into farming yet in this game, but it might make sense to only grow some crops through the winter and some through summer
  8. Good evening. I just lost my character to a really bizarre and frustrating glitch. I was in a School Bus surrounded by zombies, and have been running them over in a desparate attempt to escape. Suddenly, the bus stopped. Now, this may have been due to the engine breaking apart, but that turned out not to be the case because the bus restarted and proceeded to move when I pressed the movement keys. The bus reaches about one RPM and less than five miles per hour, switches to drive, and travels about two or three feet before the key pops out and the bus stops. I reinsert the key, turn the engine, and then the bus starts again. I move the bus again; the key jumps out of the car. It does not work. Again. I thought it was because I was sitting on zombies, but I eventually broke free and the bus continued to stop. Again, when I cranked the engine, the engine light was green and the bus moved. When I was cranking the engine, it was yellow if the engine didn't start. The heater still works. The battery still has charge. The bus has all four tires. All bus components are present. The engine is not at zero percent. Nothing else with the bus is going wrong. It is not the engine failing, but the bus key jumping out of the ignition! I eventually got out of the bus and was mauled to death by zombies. I have a backed up saved game, but I'm still not happy with this bug. Thank you for any assistance you may render.   9. i'm not sure how many combinations are effected by this bug, but if i make a fruit salad from 4 ingredients and then i eat 3/4 of it, if i then add 1 more ingredient to it, it will act as if i made a brand new salad with 5 ingredients; for example my current fruit salad had -7 hunger left because i had already eaten 3/4 of it (originally made with 1 part cherry and 3 parts pineapple) and i just added 1 more part of grapes to it and it resulted in a full salad with -45 hunger; also from what i've noticed so far this bug when implemented exactly how i previously mentioned is 100% repeatable; i specifically tried this again, with a fruit salad made from 4 ingredients, after eating 3/4 of it and then adding one more part, it filled it up all the way; again i have not tried the many other combinations to see if this bug works with different numbers of ingredients and eating different amounts from the original and then adding another ingredient; i'm sure a review of the code will determine what's wrong update: i've noticed this with 5 ingredients adding another one also...i'm gonna guess you can do this every time you add an ingredient after eating some of the dish; it's kind of a way to cheat the cooking system; i can make a salad for example and eat 3/4 of it, then add 1 more ingredient and it will keep giving the stats as if i had just made the salad with that many ingredients in the beginning...

Hi guys, first time posting, not sure if I'm posting in the right place or properly, but here's what's going on: I'm on the 41.43 IWBUMS and had a few mods enabled, and was unable to pick items up. I'd double click them, the "picking up" bar would fill up and then go away and my character would be in the "picking up" animation for as long as I'd sit there, yet not picking up any item. I assumed it was from the mods so I disabled them one at a time until I had none at all enabled, and still am encountering the bug. Not sure if I can somehow get a log to post to show what's going on, so if anyone knows how I can, please let me know. Another thing I noticed is while this is happening, in the bottom right corner I see that red "ERROR" box going crazy flying through numbers.

  12. When I'm ridiculously tired - besides the option to sleep on the ground - the option to rest shows up, too, anywhere I click. It does nothing just gives an error. Not using any mods.
  13. edit: right now I don't have this issue anymore, I don't know if it was something on my end ---------- For example while you're reading a book you used to be able to speed up and slow down time freely. Now you can only speed up time but you can't slow it down until the action is complete (or until you cancel it) Pretty sure it worked properly a couple days ago, before the new 41.41 patch I guess.
  14. Hello everybody! I'm here with a very small idea. Why not add the ability to load weapons without clips to the game? How it is implemented, for example, in the game DayZ. Playing on complex sandbox settings, I sometimes had problems with firearms - I didn't have clips for them. Why doesn't the character put a round in the barrel? Of course, it might not be effective against the walkers, but... it will be possible to rake them in one place Thanks for your attention

I've set my sandbox settings to active at night and zombies to sprinters, so during day time they move slowly and are not dangerous, but during night time they can sprint, making them dangerous. My first run went well, but my next few runs were broken. I start at 9am, zombies are walking, a few mintues later, I run on a 30 mintue day cycle, they start running during day and night! I have a few mods, but these do not interfere with the ai of the zombie, meaning it may be a bug with the game. There have been many cases in the past for such bug. I really enjoyed the nocturnal sprinter zeds, but now I can no longer play that certain mode due to this "Active during inactive times". Im currently on IWBUMS 41.31 with several IWBUMS 41 mods that don't interfere or alter the ai of the zombies.

The character is not saved after the crash of the game, any failure, any mistake and the game character is completely deleted, to the flesh until the very start, that is, I start from the very beginning, where I have nothing, BUT! The world is preserved, my refuge is completely in place, all things and the like, but the character is not! I discovered one bug on my own ... When you go to the crafting menu and in the “filter” line I start to write something, and then change the keyboard layout, the game crashes, fix this fatal bug, because of it I lost my character. I know that all this is still in the alpha-beta-gamma-omega stage ... But such critical bugs kill all the desire to play as evil, I decently put (items) into it. By the way, for future autosaves, that every 10-15 minutes there was a save, when the game crashed so much, there was a place to go back to, I know not quite honestly, but efficiently. P.S. In which section to write, where they consider ideas, I have a lot of cool ideas that are needed in PZ or at least diversify or improve the game.
  17. I play in vanilla iwubms 41 When i place a battery charger in my base, i can't interact with it at all. I can see it, but cannot plug a battery nor pick it up.

I'm getting errors when crafting stone axes, I had enough materials to craft four axes, I opened the craft menu, hit 'craft all' but my character only made one and an error showed up and the craft menu kinda froze up, I had to close it and open it again to be able to craft another axe, then I got another error, had to close the menu again and so on... It happened both in 41.27 and before that in 41.24. logs.zip
  19. I'm 10+ hours into my current run, haven't encountered any problems, then it crashed and now if I load it back it crashes again after a couple minutes of playing (tried to continue 4 times so far). I attached the logs.zip, hope that is what you need ^^' logs.zip
  20. When I try to start a new game, the game crashes. Please help. I checked the integrity of the files, reinstalled the game, the latest version of the video driver (441.87). In compatibility mode the same. My specifications: Windows 10 x64 Intel Core i3-4130 3,4 GHz 6 GB RAM Nvidia GeForce GT 640 1 GB logs.zip
  21. - 2 pages of "NEW - DUCK AND COVER" in the guide. - In character creation, clicking the arrows to rotate a character's wrong. If you click the arrow pointing right, it'll turn the character left, same goes for the other button. - Sometimes when you try to do something with an item in a container, it takes the item and just stops the action. For example, I want to butcher a dead mouse from a container, I right click the mouse and choose "butcher small animal", the character takes the mouse and stops. He just took the mouse, he didn't butcher it. Same goes for dismantling radios and slicing watermelons, these are the examples I encountered. - I felt like my beard in-game grew WAY too fast. I searched in google how long does it take for a beard to grow and it said "about 2 to 6 months", my beard in-game grew in 11 days from goatee to long beard. You should change the beard growing time to make the game more realistic. - When I drink a pop, the animation's a little wrong, he keeps repeating opening the can and when he's drinking the can jumps from his hand to his mouth and then back to the hand. It's hard to explain, see the animation for yourself. - Can't choose to read a book that's in a backpack that's on the floor. I need to grab the book and then click "read". - There was an error when I tried to build 2 spiked baseball bats in 1 click. It made one and then there was a "1" in a red box at the bottom right corner of the screen, it didn't make the second spiked baseball bat. - So, I'm keeping a zombie to bang on a locked garage door so I'll be able to loot whatever's inside and every time I go away and come back, the zombie changes. Different clothes and gender sometimes.
  22. I'm really glad to finally see the push into the anims update! However, whenever I am in a building, a pixelated outline appears on the windows and everywhere that the camera is supposed to cut away the building so you can see inside. For clarity i've included a screenshot. My laptop runs with 8 gb ram, an i5 7th gen processor and an intel graphics card (don't know which one i'm afraid). I have validated my game files and everything should be alright. Before i validated my game files I had the "Random quitting" bug that i've seen some others mention. Does anyone experience this issue and if yes, have you managed to resolve it one way or another? Anyway, Don't get bit! -Canay
  23. on one of my better runs and found a floating car on the bridge out of west point Also found an acoustic guitar, when equipped two handed it showed as a ghostly outline with no fill. didn't manage to get a picture as i was shortly attacked and it broke after the first 3
  24. Hi there, Just tested, seems to be a bug. When you watch TV CookShow on normal speed, you will unlock Cooking level 1 with no problem right from the game start. If you speed things up on 2x for example, you are going to miss the last 8.75 xp boost. Repeat steps: 1. Start with 0 level cooking (use Slow Learner) 2. Watch Cooking Show on 'Live and Living TV' on normal speed. 3. Enjoy free level 1. 1. Start with 0 level cooking (use Slow Learner) 2. Watch Cooking Show on 'Live and Living TV' on 2x speed. 3. No free level 1.
  25. When I get into a car and press escape quickly (I think I'm canceling the character closing the door) I get stuck and can't do anything, the radial menus don't work either. Exiting to main menu and reloading solves it.
