  1. Hope we can use the simple models for all things like the old version to lower the system requirements. Make the new version run smoother on the vintage machines. This may be provided via "2D style DLC" etc.
  2. It may be just me but I feel that zombies look kinda too "alive" in the newest build. In older version darker and blurred texture were giving them a more terrific appearance. Maybe considering changing a skin color for zombies a tad and making closes appear more dirty / ragged along with making a blood color darker for zombies can be a good idea? Like referencing "The Walking Dead" TV series zombie design for example... I am curious of your thoughts and have you ever been considering this?
  3. Been testing the new 41 update and when I made a new game (no mods) I have found this bug. It only affects walls and windows indoors and seems to change color from green to blue to red seemingly at random. I don't have any idea of what might be causing this bug and have even reinstalled the game but it still hasn't fixed it. If anyone know what this is I would be grateful for some help in fixing it, Thanks
  4. I love this game but I honestly have problems with the graphics. I'm not a graphics obsessed person when it comes to video games but this game gives me a worse headache than minecraft even though PZ is very fun to play, but I always get a headache eventually. I'm playing on the best possible settings the game allows and it still looks blurry and makes me eyes and head hurt from the effort it takes to concentrate on the game. This is also probably already known but my character clips through their own clothing (you can see their underwear and body clip out from their pants and shirt)
  5. Good afternoon. Enough said. I am using Mods (particularly "Hydro Craft") and a Map overhaul, but none of the Furniture or graphics are overwritten by either. That means these shelves are glitching in the Vanilla rendition. The shelves, regardless of how full they are, are always shown to be empty. That means they are missing the Sprites that change the shelf when something is sitting on it. What, if anything, can be done to fix this? Thank you. -TURTLESHROOM
  6. Good evening. Enough said. Although I am using a Custom Map, there are no custom textures that could explain this. (On the Custom Map, the exact area of the buildings with the glitched glass is X13270/Y11195, which is where I took the screenshot.) I feel that this is a texture found in the Vanilla rendition, so it's worth showing. (Note: the glass is still gone when I look straight at it.) Thank you. -TURTLESHROOM

This is something I've recently noticed, as I upgraded my PC and I'm now sporting a 1920x1080 desktop resolution, and I feel like PZ is wasting a lot of potential by locking itself to 1280xSomethingelse. Is there any Dev-related reason of why we don't have higher resolutions? Or it's just part of that ever-increasing TO-DO list they have somewhere?
  10. Stop me if this has been said but are there plans to fill in the high tension power lines that occupy the empty space that cuts through the map? In the real KY there are two side-by-side power lines and associated towers running through that space. Right now it just looks like a grass river or something. The suggestion is here: maybe someone could do up a powerline tower model or two and just duplicate and fill the space? And maybe they can be dismantled for oodles of metal materials...

  12. The Problem Seasons and changes in weather patterns in Project Zomboid are currently only noticeable by the player feeling either hot or cold. During the summer/hotter months the player feels hot. During the winter/colder months, the player feels cold. However, there is no graphical indication whatsoever to visually indicate these shifts in seasons and weather. How Can the Game Improve in Respect to this Problem?   13. The Problem Bodies of water are dull and almost unrecognizable as water. They are static, produce no ambient noise and have no glint or shine that differentiates it from the land around it. How Can the Game Improve in Respect to this Problem? Better water textures. Give water a flow and current. Maybe even a subtle shimmer.Waves.   14. So the graphics for this game are awesome, and i've noticed there are a lot of graphics which must have taken a ton of time to make. I am making an Isometric game right now, and it is taking forever to hand-draw every single animation, and direction. Are there any programs or methods that are used to shorten this process?

Hey all, I am wondering if there is a way to change the graphics/sprite of an object, such as a barrel or a box, or a bed etc. etc. In the world, NOT the icon, but the object it self in the game world. i know how to change/add an icon of an object that goes in your inventory, but not the physical object in the game world, I've searched the forums, but nothing seems to come up, only tutorials on icons. Any help?
  16. I have a slight problem... I bought Project Zomboid on Desura, and I have it updated to it's most recent version (Alpha and ever since I updated it to the latest version, now on the shaders option in the graphics settings doesn't work like it used to. Before the latest update, I could change the shaders option to the highest shader setting (I don't remember what the highest shader setting was called) and it ran fine. Now, the shader settings is just locked at "Shaders not supported by hardware." I have already checked my video card drivers, and they are all up to date to the latest
