Many of our players do their thing and the server is pretty casual. We recently changed up the server from PvE -> PvPE where you choose to PvP or not - no one can jump you unless you're also set to PvP. We want people to have more choices and control with their playthroughs We also have: - most of KI5's vehicles - skill journals - 14 additional towns/cities and a PvP zoned arena - Brita's armor and weapons - admin and player shops - 1000+ additional music tracks - expanded farming, solar energy, brewing, grow cannabis, etc. - randomized zombie speeds, 1% sprinters - and more~ Additional info: - Soft reset was ~3 weeks ago - Main admin shops to sell jewelry and crops, buy general goods, auto, etc. are located at Crossroads. - A super admin jewelry shop is on the PvP island - By entering Louisville, Greenport, or teleporting to the island arena, PvP is auto enabled until you leave these zones. - The island arena is accessible by going to Crossroads and right clicking guillotines to teleport to the island. Make sure everything is okay and start the dedicated server. 3. Sometimes you will see something in the logs like {username=servertest, password=null, somethingsomething=null}. 4. If you saw step 3's log, your Discord Bot name will be renamed to your server's name (by default: servertest). If not it will be kept as you configured @ discord's app developer page. • Commentary 01: I'm not 100% sure this is a bug, but it is definitely annoying to have to go back to the Discord's App Developer page just to rename the bot's name to the name you set up initially.   4. Can confirm: [Single Player] [Reproducible] [version 41.78.16] I can hear the Discord app "mute self" sound effect in the Project Zomboid thunderstorm sound effect. The first time I heard this a few minutes ago, while I was playing, I thought I muted my Discord app, but then I realized it was not open on my computer. So I ruled out user error. I placed my character outside and performed no input to my computer and continued to hear the discord mute sound during the thunderstorm. I googled "project zomboid discord mute" and saw another report from July 2022 with no real resolution, and no proof. Here is a YT video (not mine) of 1 hour of the Project Zomboid thunderstorm sound effect. The sound effect error I heard in my game, that the July 2022 post user also heard, is also present in this video. I have the video time stamped at 00:00:15 seconds and the 'discord mute sound' can be heard during the first half of second 00:00:18. In my headset, it can be heard in my right ear and it is "under"/quieter than the thunder. It can be heard again at 00:02:36 and I assume every interval of 141 seconds after (per the video, at least. I don't know if PZ's thunderstorm loop is naturally 141 seconds or if the author of the video has decided to loop it as such.) 00:04:53 and beyond. Start a server with Discord bridge configured. 2. Let the server run for few good hours. 3. Observe the chat bridge (it will eventually stop working). In depth description: We've been noticing that the Discord bridge doesn't always work on our vanila dedicated server. Seems like it does time out (?) after a while for some reason. It started happening between last few updates (around February everything was working just fine). Only thing that works is a server restart but even with that it's not a bulletproof solution, rather a band aid... This Discord bridge functionality is an amazing addition to the game and it would be really, really nice if developers got to the bottom of it. Looking at the server files I've noticed that the library is strongly outdated (2.0.17). Maybe it's worth to try updating the binary (https://github.com/Javacord/Javacord/releases/tag/v3.4.0) to try eliminating those issues. Also, increasing/adding logging would be super helpful for diagnosing this issue. Just throwing some ideas out to help expedite fixing the issue.   7. Hello everyone, I'm making my own GUI for managing the server, tell me if there is any command to send messages to the chat in the same way as the discord bot does? Because there is some kind of trouble with it, it starts to fall off and only works to send messages from the game to the discord , but does not send it from the discord to the game. I wanted to tie it to my GUI and do it through the transfer from it. If I can solve it and bring it to mind, I think it will be convenient for many to see the logs in separate tabs and manage the server using quick discord commands, etc. P.S. I plan to publish it in the public in the future.

  9. Hello, We've faced a critical and fatal bug on our dedicated server that needs to be addressed as soon as possible. If you attempt to react to any message sent by the Discord bridge service found on the servers, it'll crash the server instantly. The server logs somehow got deleted after restarting it (looked on all the backups, nothing there) but we had the same reaction appear on logs with a message similar to "Contact developer..." and "reaction javacord" errors.

    Hi! I have a question with discord bot. When server starts by using ProjectZomboidServer.bat, programm change nick name of discrod bot. But I can’t find the place where this is set up. I would really appreciate if someone helps me.
  13. My group and I started PZ not too long ago. Two of us have roughly 250 hours into the game while the others are fairly new. We play vanilla (for now) daily and are really just looking for more people to make the experience more lively and fun. Were open to all skill levels joining.
