  1. This is a long one, you have been warned. I know this topic has been broached in several ways, so I would like to have a conglomeration of all the different suggestions as well as my own. It's also important to note that including ALL of these could overcomplicate the game, so it may be wise to select only a few. The clothing system's depth currently goes to basic temperature. There are a lot of options that could add lots of immersion to PZ which include: -Clothing Condition -Wind Chill -Sun Protection -Protective Value -Finding Various Types on Zombies -Pockets -Wet/Dry Condition Clo
  2. So, I've had the game for a long time now, and since Mathas started his playthrough again, after the latest patch, I found my love for the game again. So I've played for an in-game month or so on my main, and a week on every one of my alt characters. During this time I've been messing with the settings and seasons, to try and gauge the new content. First off, it's majestic. 10/10, I actually get riled up when zombies notice me. Instead of just mowing them down, I usually find it preferable to run. Thanks to all the great people working on this game, thank you. Your new content is appreciated
  3. Hello everyone, in this suggestion I will be talking about what clothing I would like to see in the game and how I believe different clothing should have a different "armor value" attached to them. DISCLAIMER: I am aware that there have been many posts about armor and that armor is a maybe on the list of "Commonly Suggested Suggestions", but most threads about armor (that I have seen) talk about things that in my opinion would either be to OP, wouldn't fit into the lore, or just too silly and impractical (looking at you, posts about duct tape armor, looking at you). This will not be a post a
  4. Hi! This is my first thread on the forum, and i wanted to know what do you think about my idea. As most of us know, in Pz you can only wear 4 kind of clothing: head (no use), torso, legs and feet, but i think than that can be extended. As you can see, this character from another zombie game is wearing clothes on differents part of his body. Im not saying that should be the same, but similar, so we can have more customization options. And about the armor: Guess from which game it is... Could be old, but accuarate. The armor should work deppending the body part and armor rate (of course,
  5. So ladies and gentleman as some of you may know the PZ devs are adding the erosion mod that also adds seasons. So????? Lets talk about some features that would make this interesting, shall we? 1.Clothing: During those cold seasons you will need to fight for warmth especially when the gas/power go out. Resolution? Get that jacket on and strap on those boots and pants this can make a VERY serious yet entertaining experience, especially during a blizzard when you're outside. So seek shelter. 2.Food?: Well this mainly appeals to the cold seasons but you could melt snow for water but you need
  6. My account in steam is maukozzz. I bought a pre-order the game Project Zomboid. You can check it out. I wanted to add a screenshot confirming my pre-order in my letter, but it was not loaded. Girls are interested in customization. So you need to add more women's clothing, especially skirts. I think that many players would support me.
  7. Hello. So I read the Mondoid from the 26th and I thought about the whole thing with clothing and what variety of clothing there should be, so I thought what if they added hoodies? They would have better protection than blouses, some storage (1-2) in the front pocket, the pull over ones and then the zippper ones that can be un-zipped if you get a little to warm and they would not be as good for protecting from the cold than a sweater in the winter but warmer than a blouse. Thoughts?
  8. I thought now that new clothing is finally getting added, here are some suggestions of what would be cool to have: Down Jackets: They let you stay out in the rain and they dont get wet. Normal Jacket: Raincoat: Same as down jacket, and I think it would be cool if it could be overlayed other clothing. Hoodies Cargo Pants Sneakers / Running shoes: They will make you tire slower when running. What do you think?
  9. Heya guys, I had a quick search and I couldn't spot this idea yet (please correct me if I am wrong). I think a good addition to the game would be perishable clothing - that is clothing that wears out and eventually becomes unusable over time, forcing you to have to occasionally replace items. This would go hand in hand with a general increase in types of clothing available in the game. Clothing would have a 'toughness' rating, which would determine how quickly they deteriorate, but other factors would increase the rate of wear such as : Running - deteriorates shoes more quickly than
  10. Where I live, it rains a lot. And it comes down sideways. But that doesn't stop us from going outside. We don't get soaking wet and catch a deadly cold, even though the temperature and wind chill can be pretty nasty, like hypothermia levels. Why? Because in our rain forest area along this stretch of coast on Vancouver Island, we use Rain Gear. So when I am in the game and a light drizzle is keeping my character indoors instead of carrying on, I find this rather immersion breaking. Because even the poorest of us around here can jury rig some rain gear with a few plastic garbage bags o
  11. Hello everybody! Please don't judge me for my english and drawing skills The picture(which i found on the internet and added some things) shows: 1. Main inventory(holders for the knife and bat, pistol holster). 2. Your pockets and bag or "big hiking bag" if you insist. It can be on your secondary hand, on the back or both(as is done now). The Suggestion on the picture: 1. Gives you quick access to your weapons just like in real life. You can just drag knife or bat (or other weapon you can find and put in your main inventory) to hand, smash zombie head or maybe carve fish and animals w
  12. First of.. Hi =) I would really like to see some ways to armor yourself against the undead. Perhaps a more indepth clothing system. Where you can make "armor" from things in your surrounding. For example: A magazine turned around your wrist would prevent bittings/scratchings there. (World War Z) I also thought about degrigation on the things you wear and the factors played from that. Like if you have dirty clothes, your unhappyness will fall. Just an example. I really aint that guy that are focused on grapichs, tho I would really like to see some form of upgrade in the inventory system and
  13. I was thinking of adding how it would be more fun if when wear a bag on your back that it shows, like you see your character wearing a duffel bag on his/her back for example. Makes you feel more like you are carrying things, lets you understand why your character cant run great distances. On this Also id like to add how about a tool belt or such that you can use for smaller items with a weight of 0.5 or less and greatly reduces the weigth, as the rules of relativity states that just cause it doesnt change to the laws of physics it will still feel different to you in your situation like how a
  14. Anyone working on some new player clothes? I love my sweater and everything, but I think it'd be neat if someone added new variations on clothes, and maybe some special items i.e. a trenchcoat for rain and protection, boots that give you additional rain protection(and maybe even a stomp ability ), a vest/jacket with a bunch of pockets to increase personal storage space, etc. Function is priority, but it would also be nice to have a little more customization. I would do this myself, but I know zip about modding...
  15. Hello guys, I am quite new here and I do not want to be rude or anything, but I think it would be good if even male characters could wear skirts in the game as well. As it is now it feels a bit too gender normative and old fashioned. Many men today wear skirts, and it's just fun to be able to play the game as the character you wish to play as. Also, imagine the scenario (as a guy) where you have been bitten by a bunch of zombies, survived and tore your pants in to bandages. You later find a skirt in a house, but are not able to put it on? Wierd right? A skirt is better than nothing for the
  16. I couldn't find any info on this here, so apologies if this has ben asked/solved before (please link me!). How are the new "unlimited" clothing colours defined in scripts? I am modding the profession outfits and saw that they are represented as follows: topColor = ColorInfo.new(0.1725,0.2745,0.5411,1);That's a blue top. But what do the numeric values correspond to? I was thinking RGB, but those are three-digit. Hex colours are a single six-digit code. So... what are they? For example, what would a pink top coded as above look like? I'm sure there's a simple answer here that I'm missing! R
