  1. Adds more food!! By itself all this mod does is spawn jars, new water bottles and food. Everything else needs to be spawned by another foods mod. Includes spices that do not spawn and require foods mods to be built off of this mod that spawn their required spices so that only needed spices are spawned... If you want to make a food recipes mod using my Spices mod, and need a little help making it work, look at my little tutorial HERE. Spice spawning will now be up to specific foods mods which use those spices. Some stuff still uses vanilla sprites, will make sprites soon. See this for sprites: Food: (Spawned by default, can be added to by modders foods mods) Frozen Brussel Sprouts Canned Beets Canned Chicken Canned Sardines Celery Stalk Cucumbers Chunky Peanut Butter Green Papaya Green Tomato Herring Honey Leeks Maple Syrup Molasses Papaya Fish Sauce Frozen Pot Pie Frozen Scallions Frozen Shrimp Raisins Red Chili Peppers Robomango Fruit (named for RoboMat ) Soy Sauce Frozen Sugar Snap Peas Tobascant Sauce Tamarind Teriyaki Sauce Tomatillo Warcestershire Sauce Water Bottles (the new bottles and jars can be filled with water) White Chocolate Other Items: (Spawned by default, can be added to by modders foods mods) Mason Jars Medical Salve (Think Neosporin) Spice Bags (only added to spawn list so you can carry stuff in them ) Spice Related Items: (These do not spawn and require foods mods to be made that spawn them.) Brown Sugar Fish Oil Kibbled Nori (made from Nori Sheets) Kosher Salt Nori Sheet Mortar and Pestle (To grind up spices and other stuff) Cooking Oils (Canola, Olive and Vegetable) Petrolatum Jelly Powdered Sugar Spice Jars for Spices (Spice list coming soon) Spices (for baking, cooking, bbqing, and other styles) Vinegars (Balsamic, Cider, Distilled, Malt, Rice Wine, Red Wine and White Wine) (Spice list coming soon, for modders, check the source-code to see the spices you can spawn) Download: Main (PZ-Mods) || Mirror (My Dropbox) Foods Mods That Use This Mod For Spices: (Links to other foods mods that use this mod will go here.) 2. Something I noticed and was bothering me a bit. With the abilty to catch water in barrels and the added bodies of water. Getting water is made a bit more realistic, wich is very much a good thing. But right know you just seem to scoop up what you need in your water bottle and drink as much as you want. Something that is just not wise to do if you do not want to die of infections in real life. I do not know if this is something that will be put in evantually but my suggestion is that water should be boiled before drinking it, esspecially water from pools and such. Things that would tie in to this abilty would be: -Somekind of way to track dirtiness of water, similarly to food rotting -The increased risk of illness when drinking dirty water (because you're not able to boil it right away) -Maybe a craftable way to purify water with simple things like a barrel + sand + charcoal( both found in bags and collected from campfires) + sheet - A distinction between boiled water and purified water ( boiled water may still be dirty but decreases change of illnes significantly) -Water collected from when water supplies are still working would be clean but maybe after the water supplies have been cut, the water still remaining in the pipes would start to get dirty after a while -...
  3. Wouldn't it be cool to see airdrops in the mp? They could contain food, water, tools, ammo and possibly weapons. The point of this would be to force survivors out of there bases for the valuable supplies sadly it would attract a horde of infected and also attract other survivors.
  4. So i was told a story about how infected water makes you sick or makes you very sick or can even kill you and i thought that would be cool for PZ! so in areas like the river or puddles or streams n stuff! just a suggestion! PP
  5. Apologies to the couple of people I promised this too a while back, I was unsure how to get it to work together right and be realistic enough to post, so I shelved it. Until now... I made (tried) textures (sprites, whatever...) Here ya Go!! Instructions in the form of a gaggle of recipe images!! Bugs: Towel to dirty water recipe needs to be changed (Just made it this way to finish it for now) You lose the towel when you save the water (can't fix, in vanilla item scripting code) Can dupe bottles of water if you keep clicking the crafting option to filter water (I have no clue how to fix ) Coming: Adding more items and steps to make the filtration feel more realistic. Fixing the dirty water part of the recipes. fix dupe bug? DOWNLOAD: Mirror Download (My Dropbox Link) HOW TO TEST THE FILTERING OUT (If you don't want to loot the items): Install the Optional "GimmeFilterStuff.lua" and press F8+0 (zero) to get all the items you need to construct and filter some water. 6. I was watching one of Mathas' videos of PZ, and he was suggesting that perfect, water-tight rain barrels should not be available to build at level 0. I agree, but then I thought, why would rain barrels even be necessary? Just drag over a wheely bin and pop the top open. Of course, to balance it, you could make it so that you have a pretty high chance to get sick from the garbage water unless you perform a "clean" interaction that consumes 1 sheet or 1 bath towel, and 1 jug of bleach. Perhaps to balance this out bleach could be made slightly less common.
  7. Hi! You should be able to empty the bleach bottle to fill it with water. Thanks!
  8. I heard water barrels will be implemented soon, so my idea is to have that as, the clean pure water. As water is sustainable so it can't run out, it should be hard to get (ish). The water barrels is a great idea and I am thinking that because of this, the tap water and toilet water especially should be dirty or limited, but only after like a few weeks or a suitable in game time. The taps should stop purifying water because of the out break and in result of that should start giving out water that can get you infected with the zombie infection it's self or other infections (you could choose to stop taps all together after a certain period of time). (I say zombie infection due to them getting in touch with the water drains.) Heating water should also be a cleaner more purified way to keeping away from the bugs, as I am a new member to the forums and to the game its self, I do not know if this is already suggested.
  9. So... Umbrellas, not rare but not super-common as loot in houses and the stores. It would require both hands to use and would open in three seconds but take ten seconds to shake dry and close. Both of those timers would require you to be standing still. The noise from the water hitting the umbrella would make more noise than the rain around it making you a little more noticeable when walking around in the rain if zombies are about. It would be usable as a very limited bat like weapon and would break pretty fast, maybe one to three uses. It would have the close combat jaw kill move like knives, maybe four to five uses. If in multi-player, two or three people can stand under it and not get wet. It would wear out over time from the wear and tear and from the water damaging it (long-term). And if hot and sunny, you stay cool when using it.
  10. I haven't played too much (still very new), but I have read that the power and water goes out, so water becomes scarce unless found in wells (which apparently, so far there is only one). I was thinking, maybe if you dropped bowls or cups outside, when it rains it will collect water? Making it easier to get water.
  11. With the upcoming water rain barrel collecting, there should be times of drought, mainly in the spring and summer, but also in the winter. Not always, but there should be times when it just doesn't rain.
  12. I would love to craft this things: But except that the devs want to put the profession "potter", and then you can create with clay a pot... you could only find the clay pots in some homes I think : P What you guys think.. is too bad idea? haha I was thinking about make a mod... but, I don't know anything about it, and right now my life is too lazy to try...
  13. Hi i just found an infinitive whater barrel in ofice of some werehouse (Seen them in other ofices) (If someone didnt understand i am talking about 2 small werehouses on left side of a map) Soo i had a question is it a bug? Or It is not endless? i just was drinking from it for around 3 weeks and it still allowed me to fill my bootles and drink, also i tested it in sandbox mode with insta whater shutdown, it still functions fine. If it is not a bug. well no need for a well )
