Can confirm: [Single Player] [Reproducible] [version 41.78.16] I can hear the Discord app "mute self" sound effect in the Project Zomboid thunderstorm sound effect. The first time I heard this a few minutes ago, while I was playing, I thought I muted my Discord app, but then I realized it was not open on my computer. So I ruled out user error. I placed my character outside and performed no input to my computer and continued to hear the discord mute sound during the thunderstorm. I googled "project zomboid discord mute" and saw another report from July 2022 with no real resolution, and no proof. Here is a YT video (not mine) of 1 hour of the Project Zomboid thunderstorm sound effect. The sound effect error I heard in my game, that the July 2022 post user also heard, is also present in this video. I have the video time stamped at 00:00:15 seconds and the 'discord mute sound' can be heard during the first half of second 00:00:18. In my headset, it can be heard in my right ear and it is "under"/quieter than the thunder. It can be heard again at 00:02:36 and I assume every interval of 141 seconds after (per the video, at least. I don't know if PZ's thunderstorm loop is naturally 141 seconds or if the author of the video has decided to loop it as such.) 00:04:53 and beyond. For reference, this is a YT clip of "discord mute" sound effect: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNNRQpP18dg&ab_channel=ElRaio_YT While not a game-breaking bug, it destroys immersion briefly, though, repeatedly. logs.zip

I know this is a bit off but I suggest when NPc's release we should be able to name our factions. It gets listed in a list somewhere in the game and when NPC's speak of it they'll pull it from this memory bank and say it. Simple enough I think. NPC's will also be able to name factions from a predetermined list of faction names available. Tell me what y'all think!

I find it really bullshit when you get scratched or bit by a crawler who you cannot even hit unless right on top of... But that in general doesn't make me angry what does is how they can hit you almost instantly not even giving you a chance to attack Personally I feel that they need to be change to make it more possible to kill them without being wounded

They're Crawling Out! PZ Mod v 0.1 Killed all zombies in the area? Happy with your impenetrable fortress? Bored with living in a backwater all your life, cultivating carrots and daisies? (grim laughter) The forces of darkness have risen coprses lying for many years below ground. The dead and buried come to life. They are emerging from under the ground, crawling out, searching for the only survivor, smelling fresh meat! The deeper their grave is, the longer their way out from down below, and the stronger they are. ------------------------- Well, enough pathetics The purpose of this mod is to vary the late game a bit. After some days of gameplay (their number can be modified in settings) new zombies start to appear not far from the player. Because they can't appear out of nowhere, I've decided that they should appear from under the ground, cause it's the only place (in theory) where corpses can be found after you cleared the area (yeah, I know, it's dragged in by the head and shoulders, but .. why not?). So be careful, they can appear inside your fortress. Anyway, they can't break through house floor or asphalt road. If there's much asphalt/floor/water in the area, it would be unlikely for a zombie to find the way out. The plants also stay intact (because the soil was digged up already and no corpses were found). The time between zombie appearances can be modified in mod settings. New zombies walk towards player position. As time goes by, new zombies become more tough (this can also be turned on/off in settings). A little bonus: as the groung becomes digged up while zombie is crawling out, sometimes a worm or two can be found near.. Installation: Unpack into \Users\<Username>\Zomboid\mods\ Settings: Mod settings are kept in file "settings.ini" in mod folder. Notes: As it's my first mod and I spent only a couple of days making it, it's a bit ugly and must have some bugs. So be careful with your long-played-games. Anyway, it works for me. As i play only single player, I have no idea how it'll work in MP. As I'm using VirtualZombieManager, the zeds are not permanent. If someone could help me making them permanent on the map and/or modifying their stats (except health), that would be very much appreciated Download: Latest version v0.3 is here. Thanks: To all modders & devs, I learned a lot from their source code

Greetings projectzomboid enthusiasts, Just wanted to re-share an Indie title my team is working on called Zpoclaypse Survival, reanimated. Based off of our nuclear zombie apocalypse boardgame Zpocalypse. I'm personally in charge of the level design for the game, and it's been a blast designing apartments, office buildings, warehouses and shopping centers with variable based furniture and loot systems in place. It's all in it's infancy(to what I'd be happy with(rand gen anywhere in the world!), and we are in the process of building the core database for structuring everything, so we can more easily create content, and later down the road provide a solid branch for fans to create their own moded content(like add your own house to the rand gen areas, tweak your survivors model to more look like you or family members). Anyway, some of you may recall our original campaign back in May for the same title, and sadly, how we cancelled it mid way, due to conflicts of running 2 kickstarters at the same time(Not a good idea). Anyway, after a summer of restructuring alot of things, we've gotten our alpha to a point where we feel it's ready to try crowd-funding again(Private Alpha access through the campaign, and public Alpha access once it's polished enough for the casuals). We've delivered 2 boardgames and a dice game since our company started, with 2 newly successful other boardgames currently in production. This is our first video game. We have a dedicated programer, level designer(mwa), animator, modeler, and content writer. We need to hire out for audio work, and maybe better GUI support, which is why we're running this Kickstarter in the first place(to pay for the bits of polish we need outside our internal skope of abilities). So anyway, at this stage, we mainly need word of mouth and eyeballs. Thank you for your time Zach from Greenbrier Games Inc. PS. I've been a bit out of the loop ever since PZ went multi-player. Are their any good public servers low on griefers I can jump on? I'd like to try out the newer hunting, fishing, snaring mechanics, and do what I always did with PZ, build badass bases and roof farms while systematically killing every zombie i find!

Hello. I just wish to play in single player, but with Admin ability with the tools just like these. http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/8149-server-admin-toolsv2/ That admin mod won't work in single player, yet I wish to be able to use the abilities of the mod just to build some stuff for fun. Just to make The Sandbox, More Sandboxy.
