  1. Done it initially on a modded singleplayer server, tried it on a new save and it still works. How to do it: Simply have a sledgehammer and a backpack or an container that can hold a sledgehammer (preferably a backpack), then put the sledgehammer in the container. After that, right click and select "destroy" option and click somewhere destroyable. After character starts to take out the sledgehammer from the container to destroy clicked place, walk away and right before the unpack timed action ends, stop and don't move. Wherever you are, the character will do the destroying animation and destroy the clicked place from wherever you are. https://youtu.be/18KX3uMR5iw
  2. Good afternoon. Enough said. This desk, like all PZ furniture that I know of, is from the Vanilla rendition of "Project Zomboid". Unlike most other types of desks and tables, I cannot disassemble, pick up, rotate, or otherwise alter or relocate the desk by any means except the Sledgehammer. This is not the first time I have encountered furniture like this. Thank you. -TURTLESHROOM
  3. I always hate leaving loot behind, and seems the things left are always the flatware. Craft the flatware reinforced bats by nailing three pieces of flatware onto the tip of the bat with six nails and the hammer (only the vanilla hammer, maybe I should add my mod hammers.) The new reinforced bats stats are between the regular bat and the nailed bat. Pictures coming soon of recipes.. DOWNLOAD: Main Download (PZ-Mods) || Mirror Download (My Dropbox Link)
  4. I was thinking and discussing with friends about different ways to build things in this game. I also noticed something missing. The ability to craft wooden nails, or even a notch/wood dowel system. I think it should be in the later levels of carpentry as things of that nature would be fairly difficult for a beginner carpenter. With this idea, adding in a few more tools specific to the trade, like a hand drill (to drill the dowel holes), a chisel (for making notches in the wood to join them together), and ultimately give wood glue/ropes some sort of use in this process as well. This system, by itself, could jump start the creation of log homes or player made structures and give players that wish to be carpenters a more efficient and long term use. My suggestions in total (TL;DR): Wood Nails Wood Dowels Log Carpentry Chisel Tool Hand Drill Tool Minimum Carpentry Level 5 I think this idea can give the Carpenter Occupation more incentive to be picked and played in single and multiplayer. 5. This is a rewrite of all of my crafting bats mods that combines them into one mod and expands on them to make bats that you can add to and make them much more damaging but overall slower and weaker. I included two different Craft Bat recipes, one takes longer and makes a real bat, the other one is made quicker and is a makeshift bat, which can also be crafted with a hammer and nail, but still weaker than the real bat variety. You can use kitchen knives, hammers and crowbars to add onto bats for some real maiming. Each weapon have been carefully scripted and tested to give an accurate feel for slinging them around. The damage level and stamina exertion has been fine tuned to seem realistic. A big thank you to JJStorm for offering and making the sprites for the icons, and hopefully swing sprites when someone figures that part out of the lua code. Crafting Recipes: Coming Soon: More transmorphering recipes. swing sprites (oneday). DOWNLOAD: Main Download (PZ-Mods) || Mirror (My Dropbox Link)
  6. Last night I was playing PZ and I was using the hammer (with the strong perk but I have used it many times without it) and the hammer is very op. You almost never get exhausted from swinging it , it takes a very long time to break and it does a lot of damage. The only thing slightly balancing it would be that the reach is short but that has not been an issue in my multiple hours of using it. One way I think it could be balanced is slightly lowering the damage and making it break faster but these are my only two ideas.
  7. So my game updated to the new beta build, 23, which is fine! Everything seemed to be working properly. When I tried to build a wall, however, there was no see-through "guide", and on my screen appeared: Left Rorate Right Rorate When I tried to build something else (ANYTHING else), it automatically placed the guide somewhere and began building. I loaded an older save (version 17) in which I knew building had worked, it updated to the new version, and bam... same thing happened. I can't build anything! Please help, this is a tough game to survive when you can't build. (Barricading works fine, at least )
  8. (I made the sprites, yay) They spawn in a-lot of places. Some are weak while others are deadly. Bugs: (kind of) Can't do carpentry with them, I tried renaming the normal ones Hammers, hoping that the game would recognize them as Hammers, like some of the items can do, but it didn't work.. So use these hammers to kill things with and the vanilla hammer for construction (these ones can barricade though). Hammers Added: Tire Hammer Weak unless a charged swing but faster with good knockdown.Upholsterers Hammer Weaker than normal hammers but faster with average knockdown.Machinist Hammer Weaker than normal hammers but faster with average knockdown.Ball Pein Hammer Weaker than normal hammers but faster with average knockdown.Straight Claw Hammer As close to the vanilla hammer as you can get.Masons Hammer Strong, a little heavy and slow with good knockdown.Mallet Hammer Strong, a little heavy and slow with a big swing radius with good knockdown.Dead Blow Hammer Strong, a little heavy and slow with good knockdown.German Hammer Very strong, heavy and slow with good knockdown.Maul Hammer Very strong, heavy and slow with a big swing radius with good knockdown.Splitting Maul Hammer Very strong, heavy and slow with a big swing radius with good knockdown.
