  1. Good evening. I have thoroughly enjoyed Ethanwdp's "Let Me Speak Mod", which is a coding masterpiece in and of itself. My one problem is that the Mod's Conditional Speech causes your character to curse like a sailor and constantly take the Lord's Name In Vain. I can't have this in my "Project Zomboid", so I made an alternate to the conditional speech in the default. This requires the full "Let Me Speak" Mod to function. To install this Mod, you must go into the Steam Workshop folders and look for: "(STEAM CONSOLE ROOT)\steanapps\workshop\content\108600\503791964\mods\Let Me Speak!\media\lua\client". Copy and paste my "LETMESPEAKCONDITIONS.LUA" over the one in the Mod. There you go! Now, your character will take Spiffo the Raccoon's name in vain and use euphamisms and/or Dixie-friendly words. As a bonus, I also added a few lines to the quote list. If you're okay with swearing but want a more lighthearted narration, this is also the way to go. Only one of the original lines have been cut out of the Mod ("ouchies"). They have only been censored. With this Mod, I hope more people will engage in the "Let Me Speak" Mod and use all the wonderful features it has to offer. The file is in the attachment below. Thank you. -TURTLESHROOM --- DOWNLOAD: letmespeakconditions.lua
  2. So I know this was rejected originally due to taking away from the game. But what if it wasn't like a mandatory thing. Instead you can just do it to get a slight boost similar to how sleeping 8 hours in Skyrim or Fallout 4 gives you well rested bonus? So it would be a squeaky clean bonus but wouldn't have any effect if you chose to never use it?
  3. I'm not sure if this has been suggested before, but I would really like to see rain slowly wash blood away from grass and concrete. Love the current bleach option for interior cleaning.
  4. I like your recent medical editions in build 30. I have more dangers to watch out for and finally a reason to loot bathrooms and medical places (which before was largely a waste of time). I did still notice a glaring omission though. Although bandages get dirty and need to be changed I can still use any zombie's clothes to make bandages. It stands to reason a zombie's clothing would be among the worse things you can make bandages out of. I suggest adding a dirty state to clothing and flagging all zombies as automatically having dirty clothes. Dirty clothing would produce dirty rags and like rags you could clean clothes with water. Some clothing you find could be randomly dirty too, perhaps the stuff in garbage cans or washing machines? If you wanted to get complex you could make your clothes get dirty over time or dirty from fights but I think it's unnecessary, not worth the work and possibly a bit too "The Sims". A binary flag would be sufficient rather than a timer on how long you can use clothes. Getting worn out would probably be better use for a timer than dirty anyway as there is little reason to look for clothes now. Anyway It's just really weird to make safe bandages from disease ridden zombie clothes. Adding any more depth would be a bonus but it's not important.
  5. Hey everyone, i find it really annoying that when i finally have got my new base i have all these dead bodies of the zombies i killed inside the house. I think it would be a really good feature that you can drag, drop and even burn dead body's (for example with gasoline and a lighter/matches). and also a way to clean up blood. To some pleople this might sound unnecessary. But i think that would be pretty awesome. Thanks for paying attention and hopefully some people like my idea
  6. Made it for suggestion here. I made a texture.. This is why I don't make textures.. All I did was find a picture of a bottle of soap, cropped it and shrunk it to size. Looks good enough though. Made with 2.9.9.13 (should work with 2.9.9.10 through the new version) Now you can clean that dirty dish with rotten food in it. So you have to start a new game, sorry. (Only for the dish soap spawn, I think...) How Do You Clean Dishes: Find some dish soap. New item spawns more commonly in kitchens. Find a dish towel (use my wring out mod to keep reusing towel). Get your rotten and/or dirty pan or bowl. Squirt some soap on them. Add water (there's a bug with the UI staying open, dupe item bug, please don't cheat. Or else) Then use dish towel on them. + = INSTALL MOD: Copy the "mods" and "media" folders from the mod zip file into your Project Zomboid game directory, don't worry it won't replace anything, it will just add the mod file into your "media/lua" and "/mods/scripts" directories. Put the texture in your root PZ directory "PZ/(HERE)". Coming Soon: crossmods for other food mods (unless the food mod author makes their own) DOWNLOAD: Main Download (PZ-Mods) || Mirror Download (My Dropbox Link)
