  1. after waiting a period of about 2-3 hours of watching YouTube videos i got back to my current save of zomboid (i left the game open in the pause menu whilst in a car) i found a house with a Chevalier Primani outside and i found its corresponding car key inside the houses sink, i could not enter it or open the trunk, assumed it was for another car and moved on, i then went to a near by city and found a Chevalier Cerise Wagon with its corresponding car keys right next to it, the door was unlocked and i tried putting the key into the car, it did not work, i consulted the wiki to see if both keys where the proper cars and they in fact were, i would give you the save and its logs but for some reason the forums wont let me upload any attachments
  2. If you shoot zombies as they're on the floor after climbing through a window, and they survive the shot, they insta-standup and will either begin to chase you or crawl back through the window they came from. Shooting zombies after they've climbed over a fence just stuns them on the floor if they survive, as intended. Happens a lot with the 9mm pistol and low aiming skill. This does however not happen if they have to climb over furniture after the window
  3. My character has had a previous Lower Torso wound that got infected, but it has since healed (many in-game days ago). No problem here. I noticed, however that when I got exercise fatigued from working out, the "infected" text showed up again on my Lower Torso. Since my character has no Lower Torso wound, I can't interact with this "infection" to heal it. Good news is that once the exercise fatigue went away, so did this infection. Pretty sure it's a visual bug. I have a strong suspicion its because my previous wound got healed while it was infected but it's tough to say. My character has the "slow healer" trait as well if that helps.
  4. After I reached a certain point in the Vanilla Sandbox, it becomes kind of boring. Since I got my endgame Gear, build a sustainable Base with generator running and Water supply, Bed, etc. I began decorating my house. I drove to other Cities because in Riverside where no building with certain floor titles and so on. But even after that time sink I just came up with kind of “boring” ToDos like: - Max out each skill tree - Build A Garage - ? That’s it. Nothing more to Do. In my Optionion the Game (Endgame) would be MUCH better if such things where happening: - Zombie Hordes will Attack your base, they are increasing in numbers and stronger, and they will come in more or less predictable Timeframes. Resulting ToDo: Reinforce your base, (missing) Build Defensive Structures, Maybe Landmines, maybe Kind of Traps, maybe even Turrents you can Build. - Weather or other Effects will affect your base health. Like Blizzards, Thunderstroms, Fires, and you have to counter those. Resulting ToDo: Build Fireproof Defences, Heating for Blizzards, ....maybe stronger materials for buildings Other ideas that came to my mind…. - Make Building more realistic / more flexible e.g. Piping from from multiple barrels to one Sink or to multiple other targets of water supply, (Auto) Watering Structures for Farming, Electrical Switches for Lamps, Ceiling Lamps a kind of missing, also the wireing from generator to specific devices Is currently “to easy” (because there is none) - I want to build Streets - A Way to store bigger amout of gasoline (maybe build Tanks) - Toilet has no function, my character should have SH**T his pants like 50 times by now - BTW where goes the dirty water ? - Maybe implement Dogs for Security inside the Base - Achievements would be a nice addition too - Why are there only Wooden Doors for the Player Base ? - Im missing Plaster in Hardware stores in large numbers - Would be cool if there would be a train that drives from city to city....but i have no idea who will drive the train =) - Rare Vehincle Spawns (that motivate players to explore more) - Car Tuning (defensive Purposes) - Maybe Winter Tires / Summer Tires / All-Weather Tires - Rare Car Parts (like a really good motor, better light, better tires, breaks,...) - Would be cool to reinforce walls / Doors with multiple layers of base material (e.g wood) - Collecting Titles for nicer Floors seems unrealistic. They are too heavy if you ask me 1 would Reduce their weight to 2 or 1 (instead of 3) - Would be cool to have something like a Pushcart to transport wood a shorter distance - Generally i would introduce Rare Loot ontop of the existing loot table. So that there are "rare" versions of each cloth (with better stats) - Washing yourself is currently purely optional ? Would be interessting to see that you smell attracts zombies, an the longer you are not taking a shower the bigger is you smell radius - including that you leave a smell-trace zombies are following (could be a reason to wash yourself more often, or use some sort of cologne) - Introducing mosquito bites, that can lead to an infection (maybe even a trait that makes that worse via allergy) if you are living near water / wood there should be more mosquitos (but less zombies) - maybe countered by repellent - remote control for opening gates at your base (so that you dont have to leave the car) - e.g. honk for Open - i mostly ran around with a machete and didnt use guns at all. But they should be usefull somehow. Shotgungs for bigger groups. Maybe you need other kind of zombies or animals that better be killed in a certain distance. Weapons would be also pretty usefull for base defence - if you are able to shoot through fences or can build structures to shoot from above over wals etc. - if you could have more than one electric ciruit you could make on for permanent use (e.g. fridge) and one for the night (e.g. light) Bugs in 41.50 - Tiles build on Ground cant be removed (e.g. Wooden Floor) - Some kinds of Gras (the brownish ones) cant be removed (so they stuck out of a e.g. Wooden Floor - Car Heating cant be repaired ? - Light bulbs (for Cars) have no indicator of their quality status (only visible when you want to install them again via the context menu, but not in invetory)
  5. I'm reporting this as I don't think that's the expected behaviour and I haven't seen it reported. If you get into a car with the engine started and then you move objects between the bags in your inventory, you'll have the progress bar on your head. Then, you can drive while the progress bar is there and also, press E to get out of the car. Thus, when the progress bar is completed, the character gets out of the car, no matter car's speed. I don't know if I have explained myself properly. No mods.
  6. Im using aim outline : all When playing with 2 players the aim outline appears normally, can be seen on the first screenshot, the two players aim at the downed zombie and the outline appear on both of them. But when the third player joins the spliscreen or the fourth player, outlines stop appearing: All players are on combat stance near enough to stomp the downed zombie but none has the aim outline. Not a big deal until we start using fire weapons which we cant tell either the range or how well aimed they are, making using those on 2+ player co-op almost impossible.
  7. A lot of these suggestions were posted in Small but Important Suggestions Thread or elsewhere, but I think it's best to group them together. These should all be easy enough to implement, giving use to otherwise unused object, which in the long term would make the game more interesting and hopefully lest cluttered, as people won't just blindly throw away items so the container can be disassembled or in the case of respawning items, could respawn loot. Right now the totally junk items don't server any purpose and can only be thrown. While some of these suggestion won't magically give those items a must-have sought to flag, they would at least give some use for those unlucky ones to be stuck with just those items, or just wanting to use them for something as often is IRL. I also grouped it, for easy searching. I think those kind of fixes would be easy to fix to not distract from getting MP to run for smaller teams of no-MP focused (hi Team Tanglewood!) Beauty: Comb should be required for specif hairstyles. Rubber Band should be required for hair styles (there's a mod for that!), it would be nice to have rubber hairbands dropping as well. Lipsticks, Eyes Makeup, Foundation Makeup should be drainables. Water storage: Empty Tin Can, Empty Jar and cooler should be able to hold water and collect rain when placed outside. Empty Drinks Can should be able to hold water. Fuel: Money should be used as a fuel and kindling. All kind of shoes should be usable as a fuel again (including broken/worn out ones). Worn-out clothes should be able to be used as a fuel. Broken wood weapons should be able to be used as a fuel. Weapons: Mop should be a weapon. Tree branch should be a weapon. Containers: Wallets should be containers. Empty chips bags should exist and be containers as well. Clothing: Bandanas, Balaclavas, Bikinis, Fingerless Gloves, and some hats should be used to craft sheets. Belts, Holsters and Leather Gloves should be a source of leather. Overalls should be cut for denim. Earpods and Heaphones should be able to be worn. Misc: Crayons should be used as a multi-colored pens (they should have durability too). I'll update the list when I remind myself of stuff that I missed, as there are certainly some :). As I said, a lot of these ideas would reduce useless clutter on servers when MP comes without the need to resorting to removing items, so it's a welcome change I guess. I'd also love smelthing to make a comeback, especially with the remaining weapons and jewelerries and lockets that could potentially be smelted for something. Though since we got composting, at least rotten burnt and poisonous food can be used for something (even if composting rotten meat is not something to be advised IRL).
  8. I guess this has been already reported but I couldn't find a post where this has been described. I have been playing on the same save during (game) months and nature is spreading like crazy. Some trees have grown under cars, and now I have floating vehicles: Just look where the green activator is and where the car is planted.
  9. It seems that when ripping clothes with right click, especially when queuing actions, a wrong item is taken, resulting in wrong clothing being torn apart.
  10. Not far from the Riverside, the character has a lucky trait.
  11. I absolutely don't know how this happend, most likely from burning zombies.
  12. I have notice this small problem in b41, the M36 Revolver has some problem, when it firing bullet you have to wait about half secs before you can hearing gunshot from this weapon, same thing can also happen when you trigger alram from building, I did check the sound file, and found out the alarm sound has a little delay before the alarm goes off, Also, I think M16 Assault Rifle need a better firing sound, because it's firing sound are too small, white the m9 pistol is loud enough to hurting your ears
  13. The fitness menu seems to be one of the most advanced ones, wish some of the features from it (like having to remove backpack, having to stand up, unable to be overburdened, exhausted etc.) would carry into other aspects of the game as well! Either way, it have its minor flaws, so here's a summary: You can't see what Barbell and Dumbbel does unless you look it up online or actually equip them – it would make sense for the options to be clickable but OK button wouldn't be clickable even if you don't have them, so you can read the descriptions. After you equip barbell or dumbbell, you need to open and close the menu for it to refresh. Not really as important, as UI design might chance down the road (I remember it being teased in one of the Thurstoids), but IMO It would be nice if fitness menu would be available from right click as well, or alternatively from underneath the move furniture. Edit: also, fitness menu and fitness skill share the same menu, maybe one of them should be renamed to something else to avoid confusion?
  14. You can keep clicking "sleep" on a bed and populate more and more boxes instead of a new box appearing at last cursor position like in many games. When you do click on one of the many boxes they are still present when you wake up.
  15. Lope

    heater car

The heater works strangely, it is very rare, I notice it for the second time in all the time. The first image shows that it is turned off and the temperature of the cabin rises, in the second it is turned on for heating, but the temperature decreases.
  17. Hello, I just wanna report a exploit in the beta build 41.50 in Steam I found for accident about magazines and how get infinite ammo whit this (I tested in singleplayer, only, I don't know if in multiplayers works but I think works too), I gonna point this exploit only works whit guns whit magazines (pistols more common), this don't work whit the revolvers, magnum, shotguns or rifles (exept the assault rifles) because they use directly the ammo for working, this is the process to get work this exploit, in this case I gonna show a simple M9 Pistol: Step 1: You equip your pistol (is not necesary use a hostler for this) Step 2: You eject the magazine until you have it in your inventory and you left click on the magazine options. You are going to point to the option Unload Magazine Step 3: When you get the magazine out and even with the window of its options open, you press the R key, which is to automatically reload the empty weapon, and in that period of time before the reload animation ends, you click on the option of Unload Magazine And that's it, When you finish reloading the weapon, it will automatically give the animation that you are emptying the magazine removing the bullets to a "ghost magazine", this exploit does not affect the bullets of your weapon leaving them intact, how you can see down, Im getting bullets from a magazine I don't have, and the gun don't loose any bullets inside of it (my theory this is some bug about animation and the queue trigger of events make this happend to remove bullets even there isn't a mag) And making you farm alot of ammo easy if you have time And yes, this exploit work whit any weapons needs a magazine (in this case I do it whit the D-E Pistol) And that's is the exploit I just found yesterday for accident, I hope this can be fixed soon in the next patch or someting, sorry if this isn't a video but I dont have the program to use it so I tried my best to point it in the screenshots here, thanks for your time c:
  18. That's around here on the map if the location is also important. They've been standing out there for months and it persists through save/load. I'll forget about them until I do a patrol jog around the neighborhood and remember, so I got a screenshot this time.
  19. I can't wash the dirt off the bags, are these my problems or is there simply no such opportunity yet?
  20. Kinda funny, as Plastic Table can be dismantled with carpentry, even if it's clearly made from plastic – it have a hole for the umbrella and is standing near the Plastic Chair that can not be dismantled, though it's hard to judge by names, as while the chairs are correctly named "Plastic Chair" the table is in fact called "Large White Table". Found it out by dismantling the table on the Muldraugh's upper north large warehouse roof (level 2): https://map.projectzomboid.com/#0.5589503695497342,0.2871340020416333,448.70903444119983
  21. Game crashed after i changed the game's resulotion and set the game to fullscreen. There are often things that are missing, and some things gives warnings, errors. Is it normal? I checked the console and couldnt see what caused the crash, or its just me being rookie. It happened 2 times. console.txt
  22. It seems that the red metal profile tiles found e.g. here: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10072x9618 are enough to make a room for agoraphobic/claustrophobic to kick in. It also has effect on weather. Also, this metal profiles are non-solid, so you can go straight through them.
  23. It's one of the tiles that are not hidden, similar to my older report, but on this spot you can see both of them: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10054x9637
  24. Small scaffolding here: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10074x9560 (level 1) should be jumped through, not climbed:
