So I am running a dedicated server and while we do have some mods but I do not quite think this could be why but I have noticed that I will scrap some items that can be scrapped but if I log in again the items I just scrapped are back. The save is not reverting because the days are still proceeding. I do not know what to look at or how to troubleshoot it as removing some of the mods in an existing save would just break stuff. 

     

    Another example of this is that I cooked some eggs in an oven, I can log out and log back in as the server does pause when no one is logged in and the same items I cooked are back in the oven again. I do not understand what's causing it.

     

    EDIT: I can even do a admin command /save and the world will save but if I log back in the stuff is back again.

  2. So we have a friend who is able to host the server on a unused server at his work, and since we use  about half a dozen mods they update every so often forcing a restart. I can shutdown the server in game but I can't restart it in game, even if you hit quit in the server console the exe is still in the background, and we have both been trying to find a way to restart the server automatically with a scheduled task so we do not have to bug him to restart it each time. Does anyone have any ideas?

  3. So in my dedicated server I am running, we have moved an antique oven and a normal oven into our base. We have noticed that the antique oven is randomly spawning 10 nails at a time.  The normal oven we have moved has started randomly spawning pancakes, I was actually cooking a roast with the oven on, stepped away from my computer to found that the oven now has 2 pancakes in it as well

    • [MP] Added a DropOffWhiteListAfterDeath server options, if true when a player die, he's removed from the whitelist.

    Will this mean they get kicked off the server immediately? This would be perfect for a Hunger Games themed server I was going to do.

  4. So I am getting an odd glitch with this mod in Build 29. When attempting to destroy a wall or any carpentry, I get a stack trace error that just continues in the console for the game, but not the server itself.

     

    I am trying to destroy one of the walls in the gunshop to get into it, I have a sledge hammer equipped but this is what gets spammed in the console. I am currently running 29.3

    I tested all my mods and this one is whats causing the error, even though none of the mod files replace that particular lua file?

  5. I have to agree with the changes. On my private server, I run the Dried Fruits, Juices, Canning and Garden Hose mod which once I fortified the school second floor in West Point and farmed on the roof, I was practically safe from anything to the point where I didn't even have to leave my safe house and just could keep on farming.

     

    I do hope the zombie migration issue is resolved, I posted a screenshot of some tests I did on a MP server, by using the meta events, after awhile the zombies bunch up in a straight line, apparently at a chunk border and not going any further than that.


    I'd rather have NPC's (both good and bad) than a rebalance.  I think that would add not only more difficulty but, more importantly, more fun as well.  Just getting back into PZ after a long time and from a few other topics I see NPC's will still be a thing.  Can't find any info on an ETA though and I'm hoping this rebalance isn't taking priority over NPC's.

    Never tried it, never will.  Not giving anyone the satisfaction of killing someone who just joined the server.  This is why I avoid most games that allow griefing.  So yeah, let's get those NPC's in there already please.  I got this game last year looking forward to the NPC's.  A year later I check in and now the big news is "rebalancing"??

    You shold probably try private smaller servers that just want cooperative play. I can agree with the annoying griefing on mp servers.

  6. Is there a fix to resolve this? I checked Line 278 but I do not see anything wrong with it.

    Edit: Nevermind found the link in the first page.

    • Fixed some bugs in zombies respawn, but please note this system may bug on previous saved game (specially from build 26).
    This might seem like a dumb question but does this also include MP zombies will be respawning?

    Ah nice so this is automatically applied to all buildings? Because if that is the case then it will be glorious in my asylum's cell blocks. :P

     

    Yep, it's automatically done :)

     

    But setting zone in the map will help for zombie respawn and stuff, I'll put a tutorial soon(ish !) :P

     

    Does that mean multiplayer zombie re spawning will be a thing? Or am I interpreting that statement wrong >_>
