  1. this is real hours or in-game hours?
  2. You can't have a static reverse-lookup domain name for a dynamic IP. This would require you to have a static IP, which would involve you either paying money to your ISP for one, or you paying money to a server hoster for the privilege of running your server at their facilities. The dns of my server is always the same (zomboidbr.cloudapp.net), if users connect through it instead of the IP always falls on my server, regardless of ip have changed or not, so I'm wondering if is possible list my server by dns and not by ip on public servers.
  3. I'm having a problem, in public servers the address of my server is shown by IP, but sometimes my server is off and it loses the IP that was related to him, so users when they connect again by public servers must create a new account. Is there any way to put the DNS (ex: server.zomboid.com) instead of assigning the IP of my server on public servers? Thank you
  4. Yeah, if u really want to reset the zombies u need do backup the zombies_* from a state when they are all alive whenever I used this command, worked smoothly
  5. Works when I do Base.Nails ----->> 'added to inventory' Does not work when I do "Base.Nails,Base.Nails,Base.Nails,etc..." ---->> 'item Base.Nails,Base.Nails,Base.Nails does not exist' this does not work with admin commands, only with the server option SpawnItems SpawnItems=Base.Nails,Base.Nails works
  6. Try to give it more memory, or less. Edit the bat file. Give it 1024m, not 2048m. Somebody made it work with 12GB, i'll try that later as I already tried with 8GB (like the server) and it's not enough. Edit : Annnd it crashed I was able to run the process with 14GB on the server ( the file Server_SoftWipe.bat with "-Xms12384m-Xmx12384m"), the process used about 7GB unfortunately I have not noticed if the trees were reset... but the items in player made crates simply disappear the zombies were not reset, they simply disappeared too , so you need to make a backup of files zombies_ * and after reset paste in the folder servertest (to "reset" the zombies back up the files from a new server) important: the Server/serverOptions.ini seems that is also reset ( I will confirm soon) then backup this file too (because if the ResetID in this file is diferent from the previous one, the players will have their saves deleted upon entering the server) well that's what happened to me, if someone else has a different experience share with us
  7. I tried it on Windows Server: I ran the ProjectZomboidServer_SoftWipe.bat successfully, but was only possible when I increased the memory of the server to 12gb (the program used about 7GB) when performed with less memory I got a OutOfMemory exception
  8. Yeah I got the same problem
  9. anyone else had problems trying to soft reset the server?
  10. Negative. I can't figure out the coordinates. me too, I tried to figure out the logic of coordinates for an hour and still I have no idea How impossible it would be to add a list of our servers ingame? I know we're in the testing phase, but it would be fantastic for the user retrieve a list of servers instead of having to add them manually EDIT: I got this error when try to softreset my server
