  1. YES this is exactly what I was thinking. I like the idea of a shortened sleep-time as well. Perhaps 10 minutes in real-time. Along with this would be the possibility to be awoken from you sleep by a loud noise such as the smashing of a window or door. Another thing I was thinking about is that PVP kind of HAS to be a part of MP at least somewhat because it's a huge part of surviving in a post-apocalyptic world. Now, PVP on any public server would be hell and I wouldn't want to take part in it... but PVP on a white-listed private server where everyone knows each other and agrees to play realistically and without intentions to grief sounds ideal. I'm picturing warring factions/bandit raids/etc.
  2. IMO this game desperately needs NPCs to keep it interesting after you've survived a month or two.

The reason I think there needs to be some sort of "relationship" tab or window is because I don't think pure dialogue alone will be enough to convey the relationships between your character and the NPC's or the NPC's and each other. Also, I have a question: Will we be able to pick certain things to say to NPC's? Like will we be able to have limited conversations with these characters or will they be the ones doing all the talking? I'm assuming since we can give commands that we can have basic conversation with them (about tasks/events/inventory/etc).
  6. Hearing people say 6 months to a year is discouraging.... but I know that it is what it is. For me personally, NPC's ARE sort of make or break it because there is only so much one can do in the game right now. Loot > Fortify > Kill zombies. That's really it.. I need activities, relations, other characters to do things with to keep me interested, but that's just me.
  7. I've been looking around the site and the Mondoids and I couldn't find a time-line for when NPCs might be re-introduced. For me, NPCs (or the lack thereof) are what is keeping me from DLing the newer versions of the game and playing it at all. I know TIS isn't into setting "dates" and whatnot but is there any general idea of when they might be put back in? Other than "soon"?

No offense man... but don't you think it's a little, uh, strange for a random person to be coming onto a game developer's forum and asking that they remove a few words because they offend that person? Look at the bigger picture. You'll get over seeing the word "God" a few times and keep on enjoying the game. Nothing bad is going to happen to you if you play a game that has these words in it. To think otherwise would probably be seen as insane...
  9. Should the hypochondriac trait REALLY kill your character or even make him sick without some kind of trigger beforehand, though? I don't really think that's realistic... Maybe PERCEIVING sickness, but it shouldn't actually affect you like a real sickness would.
